1.Objective:According to interval, set different treatment frequency and duration, analyze the relation among the frequency, duration and clinical curative effect,in order to optimize treatment plan. The level of EOS in nasal secretions was measured to evaluate efficacy.2.Methods:According to the random number table and factorial analysis,a total of 136 Persistent allergic rhinitis patients were randomly assigned to 4 different groups, those was group A1(twice a week*4 weeks),group A2(three times a week*4 weeks),group A3(twice a week*8weeks)and group A4(three times a week*8 weeks). All four groups were treated with acupuncture combined with medicine cake moxibustion. Before and after the treatment, evaluated the Total Nasal Symptom Score(TNSS)?Total Ocular Symptom Score(TOSS)?Sino.Nasal Outcome Test-20(SNOT-20),measured the level of EOS.During the treatment period and two weeks after the end of the treatment, the patients monitored the Nasal symptoms and ocular symptoms independently.Clinical efficacy was assessed after treatment and statistical analysis was performed on relevant clinical data.3.Result:1 Scores of TNSS?TOSS?SNOT-20?the effects after treatment?Symptom monitoring:The scores of TNSS?TOSS?SNOT-20 of patients in all groups after the treatment was decreased obviously(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between other groups(P>0.05).The total effective rate of the four groups was 81.82%,91.18%,90.62%and 96.97%respectively.The efficiency of the A4 group was better than that of the A1 group(P<0.05).During the treatment period, the A2 group scores in the second week were lower than those in the A1 group(P<0.05).The A4 group scores in the fourth week were lower than those in the A1 group(P<0.05).The A4 group scores in the seventh week and the eighth week were lower than those in the A3 group(P<0.05).2 The change of the level of EOS:The level of EOS of patients in all groups after the treatment was decreased obviously(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between other groups(P>0.05).3 The main effect and interaction of treatment frequency and duration:Both the treatment frequency and duration affect on the scores of TNSS(P<0.05);teatment duration affects on the scores of nasal congestion, nasal itching, turbinate and nasal mucosa swelling, tearing and red eyes(P<0.05);treatment frequency affects on the scores of sleep situation(P<0.05);the treatment frequency and duration interact on the scores of sleep situation togethe(P<0.05);Both the treatment frequency and duration don't have significant impact on the scores of TOSS,SNOT-20,EOS(P>0.05),and they don't have interaction.4 Follow-up symptom scores after two weeks in each group:The A1 group scored higher on the 10th day and the 11th day after the end of treatment,respectively(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between other groups(P>0.05).4.conclusions:1 The four combinations of frequencies and the treatment duration is effective for allergic rhinitis patients.2 Acupuncture treatment can reduce EOS levels in nasal secretions of patients with persistent allergic rhinitis.3 Three times a week*8 weeks has the better efficacy compare with twice a week*4 weeks.4 Three times a week*4 weeks or twice a week*8 weeks or three times a week*8 weeks have the better long-term outcomes than twice a week*4 weeks.
