| Background:In recent year, with the improvement of surgical instruments and the application of new technology, thoracoscopic technology has been gradually applied in the surgery for mitral valve replacement. This study aims to describe the experience of mitral valve replacement with tri-port chest thoracoscopic cardiac surgery technique and to establish the feasibility and superiority of this approach. Methods:A total of 98 patients with mitral valve disease who received mitral valve replacement in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University during from January 2017 to June 2020,were divided into observation group(thoracoscope group)and control group(traditional group). The perioperative profiles and the follow-up information were collected and analyzed between the two groups. Results:The total operative time was equal, cardiopulmonary bypass time and the aortic cross-clamp time were longer in thoracoscope group than those in traditonal group. The intraoperative blood loss, perioperative blood transfusion, postoperative chest drainage, mechanical ventilation time,ICU duration time, hospital stay and the hospitalization costs in the thoracoscope group were less than those in traditonal group. Conclusions:The tri-port chest thoracoscopic surgery for mitral valve replacement was feasible and had the advantages of less trauma.less intraoperative blood loss, less postoperative pain and recovery quickly. |
