Objective: The purpose of this study was to use functional magnetic resonance imaging(f MRI)fractional of amplitude low-frequency scillations(f ALFF)method to study the change of f ALFF value in the brain of patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG)at resting state. To explore the effect of PACG on the brain function of patients, and to provide ideas for further research on the neuropathological mechanism of PACG.Methods: Thirty-one patients with binocular PACG(11 males and 20 females)who had been confirmed by ophthalmic examination in the first affiliated hospital of nanchang university,as well as 31 healthy experimental group(HC group)who were matched with the gender, age and education level of patients in the PACG group, underwent 3.0t fmri.Rs-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fmri)data collected by participants in each group and data related to clinical examination were processed and statistically analyzed.Results:(1)FALFF values of bilateral inferior frontal gyrus, left middle temporal gyrus, right precuneus and right inferior parietal lobule increased in pacg-d group compared with PACG-S group. The results of intergroup analysis showed that the f ALFF values of bilateral medial frontal gyrus, superior frontal gyrus and right lingual gyrus in PACG-D group were increased compared with HC group, while the f ALFF values of bilateral posterior central gyrus, superior superior frontal gyrus and right lingual gyrus were decreased compared with HC group.(2)Band slow-4: compared with HC group,f ALFF values of right superior temporal gyrus, right lingual gyrus and right superior frontal gyrus in PACG-D group were increased, and f ALFF values of left precuneus, talar cortex, parietal lobule, inferior parietal lobule, bilateral thalamus, and right medial frontal gyrus were increased.Band slow-5: f ALFF values of left marginal lobe, right superior frontal gyrus and right superior occipital gyrus in group D were increased compared with those in group HC,and f ALFF values decreased in left marginal lobe and middle temporal gyrus, bilateral parietal lobule and parietal central lobule, left middle temporal gyrus, left inferior parietal lobule, and left posterior central gyrus.(3)Interband analysis results showed that the f ALFF values of the bilateral cingulate gyrus, bilateral medial frontal gyrus and left superior frontal gyrus in the band slow-4 were higher than those in the band slow-5,and the values of the bilateral frontal lobes, left marginal lobes and right inferior occipital gyrus in the band slow-5 were higher than those in the group slow-4.(4)The f ALFF value of the left and right lobe of the PACG-D group in the slow-4 frequency band is positively correlated with the A-C/D and V-C/D of the left eye.In the slow-5 band PACG-D group, the left marginal lobe is positively correlated with the left eye RNFLT,and negatively correlated with the left eye A-C/D and V-C/D,the left center back is associated with the left eye A-C/D,V-C/D is positively correlated.Conclusion:(1)The patients with PACG have dysfunction in visual, motor, cognitive, emotional and other brain areas. Moreover, compared with PACG patients with monocular disease, emotional cognition, vision and default brain network of patients with binocular disease showed more obvious abnormal spontaneous neural activity.(2)in the study of spectrum, frequency differences between spontaneous brain activity, may reflect the different period of extensive cortical nerve abnormalities in patients with PACG activities have different sensitivity, prompt the f ALFF points frequency analysis is of great significance in understanding the neural physiological mechanism of PACG,we can use a different frequency band for the analysis of observed in patients with spontaneous brain activity,so as to obtain more comprehensive information. |
