Objective: Evaluation of left ventricular function in patients with essential hypertension of different configurations by myocardial work. Methods:A total of 100 patients diagnosed with hypertension and healthy adults who came to our hospital for clinical diagnosis from August 2019 to December 2019 were collected.Among them,80 patients with hypertension(42 cases of left ventricular hypertrophy,38 cases of non-left ventricular hypertrophy),20 healthy adults. The subjects were divided into three groups: normal group, hypertensive non-left ventricular hypertrophy group and hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy group. All patients underwent conventional echocardiography and two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging analysis.Collect clinical data such as patient height, weight and blood pressure.Analysis of global longitudinal strain(Global Longitudinal Strain,GLS),GWI,GWE,GCW,GWW and other parameters.Myocardial work index(GWI)is total work within the area of the LV PSL calculated from mitral valve closure to mitral valve opening.Myocardial work efficiency(GWE)is the percentage of the sum of global constructive work(GCW)and global constructive work(GCW)plus global work waste(GWW).Results: Results: The analysis of variance among the three groups showed that the differences of GLS,GWI,GWE,GCW,and GWW were statistically significant(F=5.61,2.89,3.92,8.45,3.53,P<0.05).(1)Compared with the normal group,GWI and GCW in the non-hypertrophic group were increased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),GLS and GWE were decreased in the hypertrophic group,GWI and GWW were increased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),(2)Compared with non-hypertrophic group,GLS decreased(P<0.01)and GCW increased(P<0.05)in hypertrophic group. Conclusion: GWI of hypertensive people is significantly higher than that of healthy people. There is no significant difference in GWE between healthy people and hypertensive non-left ventricular hypertrophic people.GWE in left ventricular hypertrophic people is lower than that in healthy people. |
