The Correlation Between Human Serum Cysteine Protease Inhibitor S (CST4) And Gastric Cancer

Objective: To analyze the correlation between human serum cystatin S(CST4)and gastric cancer,so as to provide some reference for further clinical diagnosis of gastric cancer.Methods: From October 2018 to 2019,26 patients with gastric cancer(21 males and 5 females,median age67(56,76)years)and 45 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis(28 males and 17 females,median age 67(55,68)years)were collected from the first affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Shihezi University from October 2018 to 2019.The healthy control group was 51 cases of normal physical examination(28cases,female 23 cases,median age 51(47,57)years old).The concentrations of CST4,CA19-9,CA72-4and CEA in serum were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay((ELISA))and electrochemiluminescence(ECL).To analyze the diagnostic value of single and combined detection of CST4 in gastric cancer.The measurement data were analyzed by SPSS 25.0.the measurement data conformed to the normal distribution by mean ±standard deviation,the non-normal distribution data by median and quartile spacing,and the counting data rate or constituent ratio.Kruskal-Wallis test was used for the data that did not conform to the analysis of variance,and Mann-Whitney test was used for the data that did not conform to the t-test.The constituent ratio data were tested by chi-square test.There was a significant difference in the level of hypothesis test ? = 0.05.Results:1.The serum levels of cst4,CA19-9,CA72-4 and CEA in patients with gastric cancer were significantly higher than those in chronic atrophic gastritis group and healthy control group(P < 0.05).2.The sensitivity and specificity of CST4 in serum for gastric cancer detection were 0.846 and 0.490,respectively.3.The sensitivity and specificity of combined detection of CST4,CA19-9,CA72-4 and CEA in gastric cancer were 0.923 and 0.392,respectively.Compared with the sensitivity and specificity of single detection of gastric cancer,the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusions: CST4 has a high positive rate in gastric cancer and has certain clinical value in the diagnosis of gastric cancer.
