Objective To investigate the correlation between serum levels of ? amyloid protein(A?)and Tau protein and acute cerebral infarction with cognitive dysfunction(VCI)and the relationship between acute cerebral infarction with cognitive dysfunction and white matter hypersignaling(WMH).Methods In this study, the detection method of choice for cerebral infarction for the method of double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent(ELISA)and cerebral infarction with VCI group(120 cases){include acute cerebral infarction,VCI with WMH group(64 cases),acute cerebral infarction with VCI not WMH group(56 cases)} serum ? amyloid protein(A?)and the Tau protein levels, and the control group than in the methods for study of exploration, covers 40 cases samples in the control group.Results(1)The level of serum ? amyloid protein(A?)in the VCI patients with acute cerebral infarction was significantly higher than that in the healthy control group, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The level of serum ? amyloid protein(A?)in patients with acute cerebral infarction with VCI and WMH was not significantly different from that in patients with acute cerebral infarction with VCI and WMH(P>0.05).(3)Serum Tau protein level in VCI patients with acute cerebral infarction was significantly higher than that in healthy control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)There was a statistically significant difference in serum Tau protein level between the acute cerebral infarction group with VCI with WMH and the acute cerebral infarction group with VCI without WMH(P<0.05).(5)Serum Tau protein level is an independent risk factor for high white matter signal in patients with acute cerebral infarction with VCI(OR > 1).Conclusions(1)The serum amyloid beta and Tau proteins in patients with acute cerebral infarction combined with VCI were correlated;(2)WMH in patients with acute cerebral infarction and VCI may not be correlated with serum A level, which needs to be further demonstrated;(3)WMH in patients with ACUTE cerebral infarction and VCI may be correlated with their serum Tau level, which can be further studied as an independent risk factor for WMH in patients with acute cerebral infarction and VCI.
