Purpose : The stress analysis was compared by establishing three kinds ofinternal fixation of three hollow nails, three hollow nails combined with medialsteel plate and biplane and double support screw for the treatment of Pauwelstype ? femoral neck fracture, which provided the choice of clinical internalfixation methods. Methods : Based on the femoral CT data of 26-year-old male and relatedapplication software, three finite element models of Pauwels type ? fractureand three hollow nails, three hollow nails combined with medial plate, andbiplane and double support screws were established.Stress loading wassimulated while standing on one leg,and the maximum displacement of the threefracture groups, peak stress and distribution of internal fixation were analyzed. Results:The three femoral stresses of the three hollow nails, three hollow nailscombined with the medial steel plate, and the biplanar and double supportscrews in the three-dimensional finite element model are respectively 10.94 MPa,14.39 MPa,and 9.43 MPa;The peak value of internal fixation stress of thethree-dimensional finite element model of the two-plane and two-support screwis 69.27 MPa,51.27 MPa,and 55.27 MPa,respectively.Balance, more in line withthe biomechanical characteristics of the femur.Three hollow nails, three hollownails combined with an inner steel plate, and a three-dimensional finite elementmodel of a two-plane double support screw have internal displacements of0.82 mm,0.62 mm,and 0.72mm;three hollow nails, three hollow nails with aninner steel plate, and two The fracture block displacements of thethree-dimensional finite element model of the planar double support screw were0.66 mm,0.51 mm,and 0.58 mm.Conclusion:This experiment shows that three hollow nails combined with the medial steel plate and biplanar double support screws have better stability and more balanced stress distribution than three hollow nails. It is a better choice for young patients with Pauwels type III femoral neck fractures.
