Objective To provide some theoretical support and reference of anatomical data for clinical treatment of odontoid fractures with anterior cannulated screw internal fixation by measuring the related anatomy and imaging of Chinese before and after screw placement.Methods 30 cases of Chinese C1-C3 complex specimens provided by Ningxia Medical University were selected to measure the axis height,odontoid process height,minimum external and internal coronal diameter of the odontoid process body,minimum external and internal sagittal diameter of the odontoid process body,minimum external and internal coronal diameter of the odontoid process base,minimum external and internal sagittal diameter of the odontoid process base,the screw insertion angle ???and the screw track length.The sagittal plane of the odontoid also measured after placement of the screw.Based on the above data,4 cases of odontoid fractures were treated with anterior cannulated screws.Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS19.0 software.Results Anatomical measurement results: the axis height was 37.77 ±1.72 mm,the odontoid height was 14.33 ± 0.85 mm,the minimum external coronal diameter of the odontoid process body was 9.30± 0.70 mm,the minimum external sagittal diameter of the odontoid process body was 10.91±0.96 mm,the minimum internal sagittal diameter of the odontoid process body was 7.34 ± 0.68 mm,the minimum external coronal diameter of the odontoid process base was 10.08±1.06 mm,the minimum external sagittal diameter of the odontoid process base was 10.66 ±0.75 mm,the minimum internal sagittal diameter of the odontoid process base was7.36±0.97 mm.The screw insertion angle ?was 9.2°±1.1°,? was 58.4°±1.0 °,and the screw track length was 38.41 ± 1.39 mm ? Radiographic CT measurement results: the axis height was 37.87±1.72 mm,the odontoid height was14.44 ± 0.92 mm,the minimum external coronal diameter of the odontoid process body was 9.19 ± 0.70 mm,the minimum internal coronal diameter of the odontoid process body was 6.50 ± 0.76 mm,the minimum external sagittal diameter of the odontoid process body was 11.05±0.95 mm,the minimum internal sagittal diameter of the odontoid process body was7.49 ± 0.63 mm,the minimum external coronal diameter of the odontoid process base was 10.85±0.99 mm,the minimum internal coronal diameter of the odontoid process base was 6.80 ± 0.75 mm,the minimum external sagittal diameter of the odontoid process base was 11.47 ± 0.91 mm,the minimum internal sagittal diameter of the odontoid process base was 7.37±0.94 mm.The screw insertion angle ?was8.6°±1.1°,? was 58.6°±1.0°,and the screw track length 38.01±1.33mm?Based on the data,4 patients with odontoid fractures were treated with anterior cannulated screw internal fixation.No complications occurred in all patients,and the screw position was good in postoperative imaging examination.Conclusion The related measurements provide relevant data reference for anterior cannulated screw fixation of odontoid fractures.It is recommended to use a cannulated screw with a length of 34mm-40 mm and a diameter of 4mm.The optimal screw insertion angle?is about 8 ° and angel ? is about 58 °.The preliminary clinical application of this data proved safe and effective.
