Analysis Of Surgical And Conservative Treatment Of Lumbar Spondylitis Caused By Brucella

Objective To evaluate the difference between conservative treatment and surgical treatment for lumbar brucella spondylitis.To provide a basis for the selection of treatment options for brucellosis spondylitis.Methods A retrospective study was performed on 56 patients with brucellosis spondylitis in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2018.According to the different treatment schemes of patients,they were randomly divided into surgery group and non-surgical group,29 cases in surgical group and 27 cases in non-surgical group.Patients receiving conservative treatment were included in the non-surgical group.Patients receiving surgical treatment such as the surgery group were compared with the visual analogue scale before and after treatment,6 weeks,3 months,6 months,and 12 months.(VAS)score,Oswestry disability index(ODI)whether there is a statistical difference,and further evaluate whether there is a difference in the effect of surgical treatment and conservative treatment on alleviating low back pain and providing patients with good quality of life.Whether patients with spondylitis need surgery and how to choose a treatment plan provides a basis.Results There was no significant difference in the general condition,VAS score,and ODI index between the two groups of patients.The VAS score and ODI index were followed up at 6 weeks,3 months,6 months,and 12 months after treatment,and there were significant differences,P <0.05.The VAS score and ODI index at 6 weeks,3 months,6 months,and 12 months after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment,P <0.05.Conclusion Brucellosis spondylitis drug treatment can effectively improve the pain symptoms of patients,but for patients with bone destruction,paravertebral abscess formation,and neurological dysfunction,drug treatment alone takes a long time,slowing the onset of symptoms and slowing the quality of life To effective improvement.Combined with conventional drug therapy and basic surgical treatment,patients can be treated with lesion removal,bone graft fusion,and internal fixation of the pedicle system.Thoroughly removing the lesions and abscesses can improve the effect of drug treatment.It can relieve the spinal cord and nerve compression of the patient and effectively relieve the patient's lower limbs.Neurological symptoms;the fixation of the pedicle screw system provides immediate stability of the spine,relieves pain in patients with lower back and back,and facilitates early recovery and normal life and work.
