Objective:To investigate the effect of CO2 pneumoperitoneum under retroperitoneal laparoscopy on regional cerebral oxygen saturation and S-100?protein in elderly patients.Methods:Fifty-five elderly patients who underwent retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy from May 2018 to March 2019 were included,rScO2 was monitored by FORE-SIGHT near infrared noninvasive brain oxygen detector.Pulse oxygen saturation?SpO2?,heart rate?HR?,regional cerebral oxygen saturation?rScO2?,and blood pressure?MAP?were recorded respectively at T0?immediately after entering the operating room?,T1(5min before CO2 pneumoperitoneum,T2?10min after CO2 pneumoperitoneum?,T3?30min after CO2 pneumoperitoneum?,T4?60min after CO2 pneumoperitoneum?,T5?10min after CO2 pneumoperitoneum was closed?.Immediate blood gas PH,PaO2,PaCO2,Hb and other data of T0T5 were detected and recorded. The S-100?protein in plasma of internal jugular vein was detected immediately after T0 and T4.Results:Compared with T0,rScO2 at time T4T5 was increased, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.Compared with T0T1,the PH value at T3T5 was significantly lower, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.Compared with T0T1,PaCO2 in T2T5 was increased, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.Compared with T0,s-100?protein was significantly increased at T4,and the differences were statistically significant?P<0.05?.There was no significant difference in MAP,HR,SpO2 between T0 and T5?P>0.05?Conclusion:Retroperitoneal laparoscopic CO2 pneumoperitoneum significantly increased rScO2in elderly patients.Moreover,s-100?protein and PaCO2 in cervical venous blood increased gradually with the prolongation of CO2 pneumoperitoneum.
