Objective:To explore the characteristics and related factors of cognitive and executive sub-function in young and middle-aged patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome. Methods:Select 50 patients with OSAHS?AHI?5 times/h,age<50 years?diagnosed by polysomnography?PSG?in the Sleeping rooms of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from September 2018 to June 2019,and select 50 normal controls at the same time?same age, same sex, same education level?as the control group.Record the general condition and AHI,LSaO2,the score of MoCA,DST,SCWT,TMT,the similarity sub-item of Wechsler intelligence scale, and the VFT in both groups. Then compare their differences between the two groups.Results:1.Cognitive assessment:The MoCA score of OSAHS group was lower than that of the control group?P<0.005?,which is manifested in visual space, executive function, attention and language function?P<0.05?;2.Executive functions:The DST back score of the OSAHS group was lower than that of the control group, and the TMT-B,StroopC,and SIE were higher than the control group?P<0.05?;3.Correlation analysis:There was a correlation between AHI,LSaO2 and executive function;MoCA and DST-back score were negatively correlated with AHI?P<0.05?and positively correlated with LSaO2?P<0.005?;TMT-B and StroopC were positively correlated with AHI?P<0.05?and negatively correlated with LSaO2?P<0.05?.Conclusion:1.There is impaired executive function in young and middle-aged patients with OSAHS,which is mainly impaired in terms of inhibition, set shifting, and working memory.2.The impaired executive function in young and middle-aged OSAHS patients is associated with AHI and LSaO2,suggesting that active intervention of OSAHS is of great significance in the prevention and treatment of executive dysfunction.
