Objective:To assess the effect of ? blockers on pulmonary function, exacerbation and mortality in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated with Cardiovascular Disease(CVD).Methods:Develop inclusion criteria and retrieval strategies. We use computer to retrieval of foreign language databases such as PUBMED(1945-2019.10),MEDLINE(1966-2019.10)as well as CNKI(1979-2019.10),WANGFANG(1998-2019.10)and other Chinese databases, etc. To collect and study the related literature on pulmonary function changes, acute aggravation and mortality in patients with COPD complicated with CVD treated with ? receptor blockers. Then Meta analysis is carried out by using STATA 12.0 software.Results:1.Results of Literature Retrieval:Preliminary retrieval of 4733 literature, after exclusion of repetition, reading of the title, abstract and full text content step by step screening, the final inclusion of 34 literature.Among them,English literature 18,Chinese literature 16;randomized controlled study 17,retrospective cohort study 17;sample size 1,415,791.2.The results of Meta analysis showed that ? blocker had no significant effect on pulmonary function in patients with COPD.The difference between FEV1%,FEV1/FVC and control group before and after treatment was WMD and its 95%CI were 0.97(0.10,1.84),-0.14(-1.47,1.18).? blocker could significantly reduce mortality(OR=0.65,95%CI=0.51-0.83).And acute aggravated readmission rate(OR=-0.64,95%CI=0.43-0.97).Conclusion:? blockers have no effect on pulmonary function of COPD complicated with CVD,which can not only decrease the risk of overall mortality but also reduce the risk of exacerbation of COPD.
