ObjectiveUnderstanding the fear of hypoglycemia(FOH)in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, analysis of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH and self management, the correlation of cognitive fusion, discusses important factors influencing FOH,improve medical staff to the attention of the occurrence of hypoglycemia in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes,to make the reduce of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH provides the basis for targeted intervention measures, make the patient in later life quality was improved.MethodsIn this study, from January 2018 to October 2018,elderly patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the endocrinology department of three tertiary hospitals in Henan Province were selected as subjects. The research tool was the general information questionnaire, including the cognitive fusion questionnaire(CFQ-F),the Chineseversion of hypoglycemic fear scale(CHFSII-WS),and the diabetes self-managementquestionnaire(SDSCA).Epidata 3.1 was used for data entry, and SPSS 20.0 was used for statistical analysis. The test level ?=0.05 was used as the statistical method:(1)the measurement data with mean, standard deviation describes;Frequency to describe count data.(2)the measurement data to normality test first, the normal distribution data using independent sample t test, analysis of variance,non-normal distribution data and rank by rank and inspection.(3)Pearson correlation analysis to investigate the elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH and cognitive fusion, the correlation of self management.(4)using the multivariate stepwise regression to elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH main influencing factors were analyzed.(5)fear of hypoglycaemia in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes,self-management,cognitive mediation effect analysis.Results1.Elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH,cognitive fusion, the status quo of self management behaviorElderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH total score was 25.81±8.81 points, one of the highest scoring item is "a person tried to score was 2.69±0.90 points, scoring the lowest entry for" cause permanent damage to my body and health "score was 0.84±0.96.Elderly patients with type 2 diabetes cognitive fusion score was 35.35±10.07,belong to moderate levels,Self-management score of 3.35±1.18 points,in a low level.2.Single factor analysis of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOHIn elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH score as the dependent variable, was statistically significant(P<0.05)of the independent variables with age, sex, medical payment, number of years diabetes, exercise intensity, hypoglycemia occurred in the past one month. The aged 60~70 years old, female,at his own expense,a number of years diabetes 20 or more years, hypoglycaemia may not exercise, one month more patients with hypoglycemia fear scored higher.3.Elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH and cognitive fusion, correlation analysis of self management behaviorCorrelation analysis results show that the fear of hypoglycaemia and cognitive fusion into positive correlation, correlation coefficient r=0.704,P<0.01;Fear of hypoglycaemia and self management into negative correlation, correlation coefficient r=0.485,P<0.01.4.Elderly patients with type 2 diabetes FOH multiple stepwise regression analysisThe results of variables with significant differences in univariate analysis were compared with cognitive fusion and self-management behavior as independent variables, and hypoglycemia fear was used as an independent variable.Multiple stepwise regression analysis was performed, including age, number of hypoglycemias within one month, and medical payment ways,self-management,sports situation, and cognitive integration entered the equation, explaining 59.4% of the total variation.5.Elderly patients with type 2 diabetes self-management behavior in fear of hypoglycaemia and cognitive fusion between the intermediary effect analysisSelf management behavior in the partial intermediary effect between cognitive fusion and fear of hypoglycaemia, intermediary effect accounted for 52.8% of the total effect.Conclusions1.The fear of hypoglycemia exists in the elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, which prompts medical workers to pay attention to this aspect.2.The influencing factors of hypoglycemia fear in elderly type 2 diabetes patients include age, frequency of hypoglycemia, medical payment method, sports situation, cognitive fusion, and self-management.3.Hypoglycemic fear in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes is positively correlated with cognitive fusion, and negatively correlated with self-management level. The moderator variable self-management has a partial mediating effect between cognitive fusion and hypoglycemic fear.
