Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of Norovirus infection in children in Shengjing hospital in Shenyang from 2017 to 2018 and the genotyping characteristics of Norovirus GI/GII.Methods: From February 2017 to January 2018,1384 patients with acute gastroenteritis who were hospitalized and clinically diagnosed as fever, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea in pediatric outpatient department of Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University were collected and fecal specimens were collected. The nucleic acid of Norovirus was detected by RT-PCR and the GI/GII genotype of Norovirus positive samples was performed by double RT-PCR.Result:A total of 1384 stool specimens were detected,of which 353 were Norovirus positive(25.5%)and the positive rate was 26%(279/1073)in hospitalized patients an d 23.8%(74/311)in outpatients(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the infection rate of Norovirus between outpatients and inpatients.Among them,200 were male,153 were female,Male: Female: 1.3:1;the age of onset was 0-14 years old,and the average age of onset was 3.01±2.99 years old;Norovirus was susc eptible in all age groups, but 74.2% of positive cases were infants under 3 years old;Nor ovirus incidence peak concentrated in January-June and December, with seasonal differe nces, high incidence in winter and spring.173 Norovirus infection samples were selected for genotyping,of which 162 were GII type, accounting for 93.64%.No GI type w as detected, and 11 were other genotypes.Among them,1043 hospitalized patients were tested for Norovirus and rotavirus at the same time. The annual infection rate of the two enteroviruses was significantly different(P < 0.05),and the incidence of rotavirus was significantly different among different age groups(P < 0.05).No V and Ro V have the same epidemic trend throughout the year.Norovirus has the high est incidence in January, while rotavirus has the highest incidence in March. The clinical s ymptoms of norovirus infectious acute gastroenteritis in different stages of children are di fferent. The main clinical symptoms are diarrhea in infant group, vomiting in pre-school and school-age group, and vomiting and diarrhea in 10-14 years old group. Conclusion:Norovirus is one of the main enteroviruses infected by sporadic acute gastroenteritis in Shenyang. The dominant strain in this area is Norovirus GII.
