Objective: To analyze the degree of self-perceived burden in patients with cubital tunnel syndrome and study the factors related to self-perceived burden to provide theoretical basis for the improvement of patients' negative psychological mood and the development of high-quality nursing service. Methods: 81 patients with cubital tunnel syndrome received and cured in hand and foot surgery of one grade-A tertiary hospital in Changchun from November 2017 to December 2018 were chosen as research objects in this study.General information and disease situation questionnaire, medical coping modes questionnaire, disabilities of the arm.shoulder and hand, perceived social support scale and self-perceived burden scale were used for conducting a questionnaire survey,in order to analyze the patients' self-perceived burden level and related influencing factors;SPSS21.00 was used for the compilation and analysis of the collected data.Results:1.Self-perceived burden average score of the patients with cubital tunnel syndrome was(31.62±5.72)points,which was in intermediate level.2.Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in the scores of self-perceived burden of patients with cubital tunnel syndrome(p<0.05).because of different educational level, family income per capita, main caregivers, main caregivers' physical condition and elbow trauma history.3.Facing style of the medical coping modes for the patients with cubital tunnel syndrome was negatively correlated with the total score of self-perceived burden and the scores of emotional burden and economic burden(r=-0.293,-0.302,-0.351.p<0.05);yielding style was positively correlated with the total score of self-perceived burden and the scores of emotional burden and economic burden(r=0.367,0.397,0.377.p<0.05),and there were no statistical differences between the avoidance style and the total score of self-perceived burden and the score of each dimension(p>0.05).4.The score of disabilities of the arm.shoulder and hand for the patients with cubital tunnel syndrome was positively correlated with the total score of self-perceived burden and the score of each dimension(r=0.335,0.245,0.346,0.233.p<0.05),and the differences were statistically significant.5.The total scores of perceived social support scale and the score of each dimension were negatively correlated with the total score of self-perceived burden and the scores of body burden and emotional burden, and the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).6.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the main influencing factors of self-perceived burden in the patients with cubital tunnel syndrome were the health status of main caregivers, elbow trauma history, monthly household income per capita, yielding coping style and overall social support level. Conclusion: Patients with cubital tunnel syndrome have a moderate self-perceived burden, the main influencing factors of which are the health status of main caregivers, elbow trauma history, monthly household income per capita, yielding coping style and overall social support level;the self-perceived burden of patients with cubital tunnel syndrome was positively correlated with yielding coping style, and was negatively correlated with social support.
