Objective:To observe the efficacy of dual-band(500-670 nm,870-1200nm)intense pulsed light(IPL)in the treatment of three common facial vascular lesions, namely telangiectasia,port-wine stain and hemangioma,in order to accumulate clinical experience for the treatment of common facial vascular lesions with dual-band IPL.Methods:To observe the therapeutic effect and adverse reactions, from September 2017 to March 2019,a total of 194 patients in our outpatient department with facial telangiectasia,port-wine stain and hemangioma were treated with dual-band IPL.Six months after the completion of treatment, the degree of satisfaction with dual-band IPL treatment were followed up.Results:After 3-6 times of dual-band IPL treatment, the total effective number of 194 patients was 190,the total effective rate was 97.94%,the improvement rate was 9.79%,the excellent rate was 43.82%,and the curerate was 44.33%.The ineffective number was 4,and the inefficiency rate was 2.06%.According to the statistical analysis, there was no statistical difference in the therapeutic effect of dual-band IPL on these three groups of facial vascular lesions. The pain score of all patients was 2 to 4 points when treated with dual-band IPL,and 5 patients had the adverse reactions of fever and erythema at the treatment site after treatment, with an adverse reaction rate of 2.58%.The adverse reactions disappeared within 1 week after symptomatic treatment, and no permanent adverse reactions occurred.A total of 177 patients(91.24%)were satisfied with the therapeutic effect. In addition, skin color and texture were distinctly improved in 73 patients(37.63%).Conclusion:Dual-band IPL has a good therapeutic effect in the treatment of three common facial vascular lesions, namely telangiectasia,port-wine stain and hemangioma, and there is no significant difference in the therapeutic effect of these three types of facial vascular lesions.During the treatment, parameters were selected according to the skin type, skin condition and diseased vessel, and the incidence rate of adverse reactions was low.In addition, the patients have mild pain, high satisfaction. The treatment also has the efficacy of improving skin color and texture. Therefore, the treatment of vascular lesions by dual-band IPL is worthy of being promoted and applied in clinical work.
