Objective:This study explores high frequency in adults with normal hearing and sensorineural hearing loss after conducting pure-tone hearing threshold hearing tests(PTA),Auditory Steady State Response(ASSR),and Auditory Brainstem Response(ABR)Hearing threshold(2000Hz,4000Hz)correlation between ASSR,ABR and PTA,and judge the accuracy of the two in predicting hearing threshold. Methods:The subjects included in the study(102 subjects 144 ears)were all patients from the otolaryngology head and neck surgery inpatient area of Hospital,Qing Hai University. The subjects were divided into normal hearing group and sensorineural deafness group after PTA examination. The thresholds of(2000Hz,4000Hz)PTA,(2000Hz,4000Hz)ASSR and ABR were recorded respectively by using ASSR and ABR tests Threshold value. After Pearson correlation coefficient analysis of the thresholds of ASSR and ABR in the high frequency hearing part(2000Hz,4000Hz)and PTA thresholds, the correlation of ASSR,ABR and PTA in each group was compared, and the linear regression equation was used to test. Results:n the normal hearing test group, the ASSR response threshold at 2000 Hz is highly linearly correlated with the 2000 Hz threshold of pure tone audiometry, with a correlation coefficient of 0.806.The ASSR response threshold at 4000 Hz is also significantly linearly correlated with pure tone audiometry at 4000 Hz.The correlation coefficient is 0.647.A Pearson correlation analysis between the ABR response threshold and 2000 Hz and 4000 Hz of the PTA,respectively, suggested a higher correlation, with correlation coefficients of 0.701 and 0.792,respectively.In the sensorineural hearing loss test group, the ASSR response threshold at 2000 Hz is highly linearly correlated with the 2000 Hz threshold for pure tone audiometry, with a correlation coefficient of 0.921.The ASSR response threshold at 4000 Hz is also highly linear with pure tone audiometry at 4000 Hz Positive correlation, the correlation coefficient is 0.908.Pearson correlation analysis between ABR response threshold and 2000 Hz and 4000 Hz of PTA respectively, suggesting high correlation, with correlation coefficients of 0.863 and 0.898,respectively.The agreement between ASSR and PTA at high frequency hearing threshold is slightly higher than that of ABR.In the sensorineural hearing loss group, the correlation between ASSR and ABR and PTA was higher in the high-frequency hearing threshold than in the normal hearing group.2.Conclusion:1.ABR and ASSR have significant correlation with PTA in high frequency hearing threshold(2000Hz,4000Hz)of adult normal hearing population, but their correlation is worse than that of sensorineural deaf population. Therefore, when using objective audiometry to distinguish pseudo deafness and make related hearing identification,ABR and ASSR are needed to jointly analyze and verify whether adult’s high frequency hearing threshold is normal or not.2.ABR and ASSR are highly correlated with PTA in high frequency hearing threshold(2000Hz,4000Hz)of adults with sensorineural hearing loss. When adults use objective audiometry to predict the hearing loss level of high frequency hearing threshold(2000Hz,4000Hz),ASSR can replace PTA to make a good prediction and quantify the hearing loss.
