Objective The levels of Cyclophilin A and Tyrosine Receptor Kinase Axl in serum of adult patients with intracranial aneurysms were measured, and their clinical significance was discussed. Methods A total of 40 patients with intracranial aneurysm(IA)who were hospitalized in neurosurgery of Gansu Provincial Hospital from January 2018 to October 2019 were selected in this study.Grouped by DSA test results,22 patients were in ruptured IA(RIA)group and 18 were in unruptured IA(UIA)group. The control group was 20 healthy adults whose gender and age matched. The serum levels of CyPA and Axl were detected, and the differences between the three groups were compared to explore the correlation between serum Axl and serum CyPA and IA.Results The levels of serum CyPA and Axl in RIA group and UIA group were significantly higher than those in normal control group(P < 0.05,respectively).And the levels of serum CyPA and Axl in RIA group were significantly higher than those in UIA group(P < 0.05,respectively).Correlation analysis showed that serum CyPA level was negatively correlated with HDL-C(r = 0.392,P < 0.05,respectively)and positively correlated with systolic blood pressure(r = 0.299,P<0.05,respectively).Serum Axl level was negatively correlated with HDL-C(r = 0.315,P < 0.05,respectively)and positively correlated with systolic blood pressure(r = 0.329,P < 0.05,respectively).Multivariate analysis showed that serum Axl(OR = 1.007,95% CI: 1.002~1.012,P = 0.004)and systolic blood pressure(OR = 1.156,95% CI: 1.033~1.293,P = 0.011)were risk factors for theformation of intracranial aneurysms, and serum Axl(OR = 1.993,95% CI: 0.988 ~0.999,P = 0.013)was a risk factor for ruptured intracranial aneurysms. Conclusion Serum Axl levels is significantly elevated in patients with intracranial aneurysms, which can be used as a potential biomarker to predict the formation and rupture of adult IA.The mechanism may be related to their inflammatory response.
