Objective: To determine whether the effect and underlying mechanism of ticagrelor were through the CD62 P pathway in a rat model of sepsis-induced AKI.Methods: Fifteen rats were equally randomized to Normal group,Sham group,CLP group,CCD group, and CLD group.Ticagrelor was administered 12 h before modeling, immediately after modeling, and 12 h after modeling at a dose of 8.6mg/kg and 46.42 mg/kg for rats in CCD and CLD group respectively Rats in Normal,Sham and CLP groups were treated with the same amount of distilled water. Results: Scr,CD62 P and IL-1β levels,MPO activity in the renal tissue, and the apoptosis rate of renal cells were increased in rats with septic AKI as compared with those in Normal,Sham and CLP groups(P <0.05).In addition, ticagrelor treatment reduced Scr,CD62 P and IL-1β levels, renal tissue MPO and the apoptosis rate of renal cells in rats with septic AKI(P <0.05).Conclusion: CD62 P was closely associated with the occurrence of septic AKI.Ticagrelor alleviated inflammation, reduced renal neutrophil infiltration and renal cell apoptosis via the CD62 P pathway, thereby protecting and improving the renal function of rats with septic AKI.
