Objective : To explore the prognostic factors of patients with new cryptococcal meningitis. Methods : A retrospective study was performed on the data of 60 patients with neotype cryptococcal meningitis admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2013 to May 2019 for retrospective analysis, and the prognostic factors affecting the cryptocerebral were analyzed. Results : Sixty patients with etiological diagnosis of cryptococcal meningitis were given antifungal therapy, including 39 patients with good prognosis(65%)and 21 patients with poor prognosis(35%).Univariate analysis revealed conscious disorder(p=0.002),total amount of amphotericin(p=0.01),antifungal treatment course(p=0.004),and medication(p=0.012)that significantly affected the prognosis outcome.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the disturbance of consciousness(p=0.03)was an independent risk factor for poor prognosis in cryptocephalic patients. Conclusions:The prognosis of cryptorcephalic patients is poor, and the disturbance of consciousness is an independent risk factor for the poor prognosis of cryptorcephalic patients.
