Research Background Lung cancer refers to malignant tumors that originate from the bronchial mucosa or glands [1].Smoking,air pollution, and occupational exposure are the three major risk factors for lung cancer. In developed countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States, the incidence and mortality of lung cancer have declined in recent years due to measures such as the implementation of tobacco control policies, the improvement of environmental quality, and the improvement of people's awareness of physical examination[2].In China, due to the large number of smokers and serious air pollution, the number of lung cancer incidence has increased year by year, ranking first in the incidence and mortality of cancer among adults in China [3].Once discovered, most lung cancers have progressed to advanced stages.Interventional treatment for advanced lung cancer is currently developing rapidly. As one of the important methods of local interventional therapy for lung cancer,125? particles are gradually increasing in clinical application, but its long-term efficacy and influencing factors are not clear. The author retrospectively analyzed the relevant data of 35 patients with NSCLC in this hospital, and explored the short-term and long-term efficacy and prognostic factors of 125? particles in the treatment of advanced NSCLC.The short-term efficacy and clinical symptom relief of NSCLC patients treated with chemotherapy alone were compared. Objective To research the long term effect and influential factors of CT-guided125? seed implantation combined with chemotherapy in treating advanced NSCLC,compare the short-term effect of 125? particle combined chemotherapy with chemotherapy alone, and observe the remission of clinical symptoms after 125? seed implantation. Methods The related data of 35 cases undergoing 125? seed implantation in this hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical characteristics possibly affecting the patient's prognosis conducted the univariate and multivariate analysis.Thirty-five patients with consistent baseline characteristics and receiving chemotherapy alone were selected as the control group. Results Thirty-five cases were implanted by 20~150 125? particles, with an average of 77.42 particles. After implantation, chest CT was re-examined immediately, showing that all the particles were implanted in right position with the success rate of 100%.The CR at postoperative 2 months was in 14 cases, the PR in 15 cases, and the effective rate was 82.86%;the CR at postoperative 4 months was in 16 cases, the PR in 16 cases, and the effective rate was 91.43%;the CR at postoperative 6 months was in 16 cases, the PR in 15 cases, and the effective rate was 88.57%.The effective rates in the chemotherapy-only group were 37.14%,31.43%,and 28.57% at 2,4,and 6months after operation, respectively, and the differences were statistically significant,P <0.05.The postoperative 1-,2-,3-year survival rates were77.14%,34.29%,22.86% respectively. The postoperative 1-,2-,3-year local control rates were 91.43%,85.71%,80.00% respectively. The median survival time was 21.62 months, and the median local control time was32.24 months. The univariate analysis showed that TNM stage, smoking history, hemoglobin level, tumor diameter, pathological type and times of combination chemotherapy were main factors affecting the patient's prognosis(P<0.05),the further multivariate analysis found that TNM stage, hemoglobin level, tumor diameter and times of combination chemotherapy were the independent factors affecting the patient's prognosis. The remission rate of cough and chest tightness in 35 patients in the combined treatment group was 87.50%,the remission rate of chest pain was 90.00%,and the remission rate of hemoptysis was 80.00%,which was statistically significant compared with the chemotherapy-only group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with advanced lung cancer,CT-guided 125? seed implantation is a safe and effective treatment, which can improve clinical symptoms and improve quality of life.Combined chemotherapy can further improve the prognosis of patients.
