Objective To analyze the infection risk and influencing factors of glucocorticoids and immune inhibitors in patients with PNS.Methods The clinical data of 101 patients with PNS in the hospital from June 2014 to September 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.Follow-up of patients' infection within 6 months after glucocorticoid or/and immune inhibitors use.According to whether infection occurred during the follow-up period, they were divided into 45 cases in the infection group and 56 cases in the non-infection group. Results There were 45 patients in the infection group, with 50 infections,of which respiratory infections accounted for54%(27/50).The neutrophil count, procalcitonin, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and C-reactive protein positive rate in the infected group were higher than those in the non-infected group, but the lymphocyte count and albumin were lower(p<0.05).And the smoking rate, the proportion of basic diseases and the proportion of elderly(> 65 years old)in the infected group were higher than those in the non-infected group. The most prone period of infection is the glucocorticoids reduction period, which accounts for 54.5%(24/44)of the total infections. The infection time is concentrated between 2-3 months after the start of adequate glucocorticoids therapy. Conclusions Patients with PNS who are treated with glucocorticoids and/or immune inhibitors are susceptible to infection during glucocorticoids reduction period.Low albumin, low lymphocytes, smoking, age(> 65 years old),and basic diseases may be risk factors for infection.
