The Curative Effect Analysis Of The Sandwich Technique Used In The Hypogastric Artery Preservation Of Abdominalaneurysm Involving The Iliac Artery

Objective:To analyse the curative effect of The Sandwich Technique Used in the hypogastric artery preservation of abdominal aneurysm involving the iliac artery.Methods:Retrospective analysis was performed on 9 patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)involving the iliac artery admitted to the second affiliated hospital of chongqing medical university from June 2016 to July 2018.All patients receive EVAR and Sandwich Technique.Patients were followed up for perioperative mortality,the effect of postoperative intracavitary repair,endoleak,stent patency and complications(Specific complications: buttock claudication,intestinal ischemia,spinal cord ischemia,puncture point hematoma,limb ischemia,etc).Results : The EVAR with Sandwich Technique was successfully performed in 9 patients with no deaths,and the stent patency was all unobstructed.There were 1 case of type I leak(11%)and 2 cases of type III leak(22%).Postoperative brachial artery repair was performed in 1 patient because of acute left upper limb ischemia(11%).Hematoma was formed at the left brachial artery incision in 3 patients(33%)and at the puncture point of right femoral artery in 2 patients(22%).The patency rate reviewed 1week,3 months and 6 months after surgery by CT is 100%?89%?89%.None of the 9 patients had symptoms of intestinal ischemia or spinal cord ischemia or paralysis.Conclusion:Sandwich technique is safe and feasible in the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)involving the iliac artery.The incidence of buttock claudication after surgery is low,and the patency rate of the stent in short-term follow-up is acceptable.It is worthy of clinical promotion,but the long-term effects need further follow-up and larger clinical samples for verification.
