Objective: The purpose of the present study was to determine possible risk factors, treatment and preventive measures associated with postoperative evisceration about common abdominal surgery in children. Methods: In this study,we retrospectively reviewed all patients who developed abdominal evisceration after abdominal exploration between 2009 and 2018.Based on relevant literature and clinical data, select the possible risk factors of postoperative abdominal evisceration in children, analysis data by using SPSS 24.0 software, the incidence for abdominal evisceration expressed in rate(%).Chi-square test was used in single factor analysis between different layers, then continued multivariable logistic regression for the meaningful indicators,P<0.05 was accepted as statistically significant. Results: The results of Chi-square test showed that postoperative abdominal evisceration was closely related with the age, nutritional status, hypoproteinemia, multiple operations before abdominal evisceration, type of incision, seepage, bleeding and intra-abdominal hypertension(IAH)(P<0.05).The results of multivariable logistic regression showed that the age(babies less than 1 year)(P<0.05,OR=35.185),seepage(infection)(P<0.05,OR=44.278),bleeding(P<0.05,OR=29.917)were significant risk factors for development of abdominal evisceration in children. Conclusion: As a result, the age(babies less than 1 year),seepage(infection),bleeding were significant risk factors for development of abdominal evisceration in children.
