Objective:To summarize the clinical features and interventional effects of Congenital aortic stenosis(AS),and to further explore the method and therapeutic principle of Percutaneous balloon aortic valvuloplasty(PBAV).Methods:A retrospective analysis of 10 children with congenital AS who underwent interventional therapy from October 2011 to March 2018 in Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University was performed to observe the clinical manifestations, expansion effects and follow-up.Results:Nine of the 10 patients had successful expansion. One patient was abandoned because the supersonic guidewire could not enter the left ventricle through the aortic valve.and there was statistically significance in mean pressure gradient of aortic valve before and after the treatment(P=0.002);The follow-up period was from 1~7years(93months),with an average of(23.11±32.68)months.One patient was treated with a secondPBAV for restenosis, and the remaining 8 patients had no significant restenosis and severe aortic regurgitation. Conclusion:Percutaneous balloon aortic valvuloplasty is a safe and effective method for congenital aortic stenosis in children.
