Research On The Relationship Between The Changes Of Facial Infrared Thermal Imaging And Viscera In Drug Addicts Before And After Moxibustion

ObjectivesIn this paper,infrared thermal imaging technology was applied to collect the infrared thermal images of the faces of drug addicts before and after moxibustion,and the facial infrared thermal imaging characteristics of drug addicts was analyzed.At the same time,the characteristics and changes of syndromes of drug addicts before and after moxibustion were collected by scale technology to explore the relationship between the change of infrared thermal imaging of drug addicts and viscera in TCM(traditional Chinese medicine).Infrared thermal imaging technology is expected to provide objective indexes for clinical treatment of drug addicts,and lay a feasible technical foundation and develop new ideas for the follow-up work of drug addiction prevention and control.Methods1.In this paper,70 drug addicts were selected as the research object,and the PRO TCM Scale for Drug Addicts and Four Diagnostic Methods Information Collection Table were used to collect the basic data and four diagnostic information of the subjects according to the standard method,and the method of differentiation of symptoms was used to extract the TCM syndromes,and the distribution characteristics and changes of the syndromes before and after the moxibustion intervention were compared.2.In this paper,the infrared thermal images of the faces of drug addicts before and after moxibustion were collected by the standard infrared thermal imager,and the facial infrared thermal imaging characteristics of drug addicts and normal people were compared,as well as the facial infrared temperature changes of drug addicts before and after moxibustion.On this basis,the relationship between the changes of infrared thermal imaging images of drug addicts and viscera of traditional Chinese medicine was analyzed.Results1.Basic information about drug addicts(1)Basic information and eating habits: The age range of the participants in this study was mainly from 21 to 30 years old,the marital status is dominated by unmarried,the majority of participants are unemployed,most of them graduated from junior high school;most of them like to eat spicy and sweet food,the some of them are addicted to smoking and drinking.(2)Drug addiction time and reasons,relapse time and reasons: The duration of drug addiction in this study was mainly from 4 to 9 years,the main reason for taking drugs is curiosity or being tempted by others,nearly half of the people will use drugs again a year or more after they quit,the main reason for taking drugs again is to kill the boring time,be influenced by drug addicts or drug dealers.2.Characteristics and changes of TCM syndromes in drug addicts(1)Distribution characteristics of TCM syndrome elements before moxibustion in drug addicts: The distribution of disease location syndromes from top to bottom are spleen,liver,kidney,stomach,lung,mind,etc;the distribution of syndromes of disease mainly consists offour syndromes of deficiency of Yin,deficiency of Qi,deficiency of Yang and deficiency of blood from top to bottom,the main syndromes were heat,wet,phlegm and Qi stagnation.(2)Distribution characteristics of TCM syndrome elements after moxibustion in drug addicts: The distribution of disease location syndromes from top to bottom are liver,kidney,spleen,stomach,mind,etc;the distribution of syndromes of disease mainly consists of four syndromes of deficiency of Yin,deficiency of Yang,deficiency of Qi and deficiency of blood from top to bottom,heat,wet,phlegm and Qi stagnation were still the main syndromes.(3)Changes of TCM syndrome element integral before and after moxibustion for drug addicts: The differences in the integral of the disease location syndrome elements were statistically significant in terms of liver and kidney(P<0.01),stomach and heart(P<0.05).However,the difference in the integral of syndromes was statistically significant,that is,deficiency of Yin,heat,wet,deficiency of Qi,deficiency of Yang and deficiency of blood(P<0.01),phlegm and stasis of blood(P<0.05).3.Comparison of facial infrared temperature between drug addicts group and control group: The facial infrared temperature of the two groups showed statistical significance in the difference among the average temperature,maximum temperature and the minimum temperature(P<0.05),and the drug addicts group those of were higher than control group.4.Changes of facial infrared temperature of drug addicts before and after moxibustion:After moxibustion,the difference of average facial infrared temperature in area B1(P<0.05),area C1 and area C2(P<0.01)was statistically significant.5.Correlation between facial infrared temperature changes and viscera in drug addicts:There was a correlation between the infrared temperature change of the face region and the liver in the drug abuse group(P<0.05).,and the temperature change of the face region B1,C1,C2 was negatively correlated with the change of the liver syndrome integral(correlation coefficient<0).However,there was no correlation between the change of syndrome element integral of kidney,stomach,and heart,and the infrared temperature change of facial region(P>0.05).Conclusions1.The population distribution of drug addicts is mainly young people,and they are unmarried,no work and with low education background.Some of them have food preference and they are addicted to smoking and drinking,they still have a higher relapse rate after quitting addiction.2.Drug addiction may get some side effects to many viscera functions(like spleen,liver,and kidney,etc),and at the same time,a variety of pathological factors were observed.If be addicted to drugs for a long time,drug addicts will have the disease characteristics of intermingled deficiency and excess,and moxibustion intervention may improve the physical status of drug addicts.3.The facial infrared thermal imaging characteristics of drug addicts are different from those of normal people,and correlation between the changes of the facial infrared thermal imaging and liver in drug addicts,which suggests that the infrared thermal imaging technology can be used as one of the objective indexes for clinical treatment of drug addicts.
