Effect Of Xuezhiqing On Blood Pressure Variability And Carotid Intima-media Thickness In H-type Hypertension

ObjectiveBy observing the changes of blood pressure,homocysteine,blood pressure variability and carotid artery intima-media thickness of Xuezhiqing granules in patients with grade 2H-type hypertension(Phlegm Blood Stasis Type),to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the prescription,and to accumulate data for the treatment of H-type hypertension by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods76 patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected from patients in a certain department of a certain hospital.The patients were divided into the experimental group and the control group,38 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine western medicine(enalapril maleate tablets + rosuvastatin calcium tablets + folic acid tablets),and the treatment group was treated with Xuezhiqing granules on the basis of routine western medicine.If the blood pressure is not up to the standard,amlodipine besylate tablets are added.The course of treatment in both groups was 8 weeks.Before and after the treatment,the level of serum homocysteine,blood pressure,blood pressure variability,carotid artery intima-media thickness and TCM syndrome indexes were observed.Finally,the test results were analyzed and the efficacy was determined by statistical methods.Results1.Hcy before and after treatment in both groups: Hcy in both groups was lower than before treatment(P<0.05).Comparing between groups,the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).2.The antihypertensive effect before and after treatment in both groups: The systolic and diastolic blood pressure were lower in both groups after treatment than before treatment(P<0.05).Comparing between groups,the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.TCM clinical symptoms before and after treatment in the two groups: The TCM symptoms of both groups improved after treatment(P<0.05).Comparing the groups,the experimental group was better than the control group in improving TCM symptoms(P<0.05).4.The blood pressure variability of the two groups before and after treatment: after treatment,24 h SSD,24 h DSD,24 h SCV and 24 h DCV were all lower than before treatment(P < 0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).5.The thickness of the carotid intima middle layer before and after treatment in the two groups: After treatment,the thickness of the carotid intimal middle layer was lower in the two groups than before treatment,but there was no statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in comparison between the groups.(P> 0.05).lts were analyzed and judged for curative effect.ConclustionXuezhiqing granules have a certain clinical effect on patients with sputum and blood stasis type H hypertension,can reduce patients' homocysteine,blood pressure levels,24-hour ambulatory blood pressure variability and improve the symptoms of patients,and may have reduced carotid arteries The role of endometrial thickness and delaying the progression of atherosclerosis.No adverse reactions were found during the observation period,which is safeand reliable,and deserves further research and promotion.
