OBJECTIVETo analyze the clinical risk factors of early variceal rebleeding after endoscopic variceal ligation(EVL)or the endoscopic tissue glue injection.MethodsA total of 216 cirrhotic patients with esophageal varices who received regular or emergent EVL or tissue adhesive injection, procedure were retrospectively analyzed.Thoses patients had completely clinical data.ResultsThe incidence of early rebleeding after EVL is 13.0%,11.7% after tissue glue injection, both used is 2.71%.Thoese two metholds are comparing with no difference(P > 0.05).Multi-factor analysis showed that a large amount of ascites, merging, liver cancer, prothrombin time prolonging, the Child C,hypoalbuminemia early rebleeding after endoscopic treatment for common independent risk factors.ConclusionsControlling ascites, correctting the function of Blood coagulationfunction and correctting hypoalbuminemia are the key factors for reducing the rates of the early bleeding after endoscopic treatment.
