Meta Analysis Of The Effect Of Folfirinox Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy On Locally Advanced Pancreatic Cancer

Objective Meta analysis was used to evaluate the efficacy of FOLFIRINOX Neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of locally advanced pancreatic cancer.Methods Chinese Journal Full-text Database(CNKI),Wanfang,Weipu,PubMed,Medline,EMBASE and other databases were searched by computer,and included in the clinical study of local advanced pancreatic cancer by FOLFIRINOX neoadjuvant chemotherapy program.Meta analysis was conducted by Using Stata 12.0software.Results 10 studies were included,including 326 patients.After the first-line FOLFIRINOX treatment,the tumor remission rate was70%(90% CI = 0.63-0.77,P < 0.1),the clinical return rate was 81%(90% CI = 0.73-0.88,P < 0.1),the surgical resection rate was 59%(90%CI = 0.55-0.63,P < 0.1),the R0 resection rate was 80%(90% CI =0.75-0.84,P < 0.1),and the median total survival period was 8-17 months.Conclusion for locally advanced pancreatic cancer,neoadjuvant Chemotherapy based on FOLFIRINOX can improve the resection rate and the chance of R0 resection,improve the survival rate of tumorremission rate and median survival period,so it is recommended as the first choice.
