Objective: To explore the effects of ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin on motor function and daily life ability of children with upper limb spasm.Methods:The clinical data of 48 children with upper limb muscle spasm received from April 2012 to September 2019 in our hospital were selected for analysis.All children were accurately injected with botulinum toxin into the spastic muscles of the upper extremities under ultrasound guidance,and rehabilitation training began the day after the injection.Before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,the modified Ashworth(Modified Ashoworth Scale,MAS)scale was used to assess muscle tone,Fugl-Meyer upper limb motor function assessment scale to evaluate upper limb function,FMFM(Fine Motor Function Measure scale)and MACS /miniMACS Assess the children's ability to participate in both hands and function in daily activities.WeeFIM assessment scale comprehensively evaluates daily living ability and compares the changes before and after treatment.Results:Compared with before and after treatment,the MAS score(t=9.65,P=0.00)and MACS score(t=9.70,P=0.00)of children were lower after 4 weeks of treatment,and the FMA score(t=-17.52,P=0.00),FMFM score(t=-14.29,P=0.00),The WeeFIM score(t=-11.93,P=0.00)was higher,suggesting that the muscle tone decreased after 4 weeks of treatment,and the upper limb motor function,hand operation ability and daily living ability(self-care ability)were improved.Conclusion : 1.The ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injection localization technology is applied to children's upper limb spasm,with simple operation,accurate positioning,obvious effect and high success rate;2.Botulinum toxin injection therapy can quickly and effectively relieve spasm,and combined with rehabilitation training after injection treatment can help shorten the treatment time and improve upper limb motor function;3.Targeted rehabilitation training helps to improve the independence of daily life function in children with upper limb spasm.
