Objective:To evaluate whether there is any difference in long-term efficacy between conventional balloons and drug-coated balloons in the application of percutaneous angioplasty for arteriovenous fistula stenosis, and provides reference for clinical work. Methods:We searched the related literatures from the related websites, and the deadline is December 31,2019.The qualified literatures were extracted according to the inclusion criteria of systematic evaluation, and the Revman software 5.3 was used to preform Meta-analysis on the related data. And try to find possible heterogeneity sources through sensitivity analysis. Finally, according the heterogeneity test results to choose fixed or random models and evaluating the publication bias.Results:Finally,9 studies were included, all of which were randomized controlled trial.A total of 902 patients with arteriovenous fistula stenosis included 449 patients in the DCB angioplasty group and 453 patients in the CB angioplasty group.Meta analysis results showed:There was a superior6-month(RR=0.67,95%CI:0.51?0.88,P=0.004,I~2=64%)and 12-month(R=0.83,95%CI:0.74?0.93,P=0.001,I~2=0%)primary patency in the DCB angioplasty group in comparison to the CBA group.Finding sources of heterogeneity through sensitivity analysis, after excluding studies by Roosen LJ et al.meta analysis performed again, and the results showed:There was a significantly superior 6-month(RR=0.60,95%CI:0.51?0.72,P<0.00001,I~2=28%)and 12-month(RR=0.81,95%CI:0.72?0.92,P=0.0008,I~2=0%)primary patency in the DCB angioplasty group in comparison to the CBA group. Conclusions:In PTA treatment of patients with arteriovenous fistula stenosis, the primary patency rate of DCB angioplasty is higher than that of CB angioplasty at 6 and 12 months after surgery, however,we still need a large number of clinical trials to fully confirm One result.
