| Objective:The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of corneal horizontal diameter(white to white,WTW),distance from midpoint of exterior incision to pupil central line(DIP),and other relevant factors on the power of surgically induced astigmatism(SIA),the change of corneal astigmatic power, and the change of corneal astigmatic axis in patients after Phaco+IOL.Methods:In this study,a total of 84 patients(99 eyes)who were diagnosed with cataract and underwent Phaco+IOL at Department of Ophthalmology of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2019 to May 2019 were collected. The width of the CCI was3.0mm and the location was at 120°.We evaluate the correlation of WTW,DIP,age,CCT and AL with the power of surgically induced astigmatism(SIA),changes of corneal astigmatic power and changes of corneal astigmatic axis on 1 week and 1 month after surgery. The influence of each relevant factor was analyzed.Statistical significance was set at P<0.05.Results:The study included 84 people and 99 eyes,of which 35were male,49 were female,46 were left eye,and 53 were right eye.A total of 84 patients and 99 eyes were collected 1 week after surgery,of which 35 were male,49 were female,46 were left eye,and 53 were right eye.A total of 50 patients and 59 eyes were collected 1 month after surgery,of which 28 were male,22 were female,26 were left eye,and 33were right eye.A total of 22 patients and 24 eyes were collected 3 months after surgery,of which 11 were male,11 were female,14 were left eye,and 10 were right eye.The average patient age was 62.74±10.58 years.By comparing the AL measured by the optical biometry and A-ultrasonic methods,it is found that there is no difference in the results obtained by the two methods(P=0.31>0.05).Therefore,we did not distinguish the two methods when the relationship between AL and other variables is analyzed.Through the analysis of CCT at different times,it is found that there is a significant difference between CCT at 1 week and 1 month after surgery. Therefore, the CCT measured before surgery was used when we analyze the relationship between CCT and other variables.By comparing the DIP at 1 week and 1 month after surgery, the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.23>0.05).Therefore,the average DIP at different time was used when we analyze the relationship between DIP and other variables.By a comparison of WTW 1 week after surgery and 1 month after surgery,we found that only the WTW before surgery and 1 month after surgery were significantly different(P=0.044<0.05).And and the can be it can be seen from the average number that WTW decreases continuously within 1 month after surgery. Therefore,in this study, when calculating the relationship between WTW and other variables, the WTW measured before surgery was used.By analyzing the correlation between the related independent variables and the power of SIA at 1 week and 1 month after surgery,we found that only WTW and DIP were related to the power of SIA at 1 linear regression analysis we found that both WTW and DIP have a significant effect on the power of SIA at 1 week after surgery(PWTW=By analyzing the correlation between related independent variables and the change of corneal astigmatic power at 1 week and 1 month after surgery,we found that age,WTW and DIP were related to the change of 0.001,Page=0.021).By performing multiple linear regression analysis,it was found that only WTW and DIP have a significant effect on the change of corneal astigmatic power at 1 week after surgery(PWTW=No independent variable was found to be related to the change of corneal astigmatic axis at 1 week and 1 month after surgery. Conclusions:WTW and DIP have an effect on corneal astigmatism after Phaco+IOL implantation. And the larger the WTW and DIP,the smaller the the power of SIA and the change of corneal astigmatic power. For patients with larger WTW and DIP,better visual quality can be obtained after surgery. |
