Objective:The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of drug-coated balloon(DCB)for de novo small coronary lesions with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods:This trial were retrospectively analyzed 103 patients(106 lesions)diagnosed ACS from October 2016 to March 2019 in our hospital. They were treated with DCB(Se Quent Please)in coronary small vessels.43 patients were followed up by coronary angiography, group comparisons based on weather or not the cutting or NES balloon is used.97 patients were followed up clinically. Results:A total of 103 patients(106 lesions)with ACS were treated with DCB.31.1% of them with diabetes,multi-vessel diseases(lesion number?2)accounted for 65%.Cutting or NSE balloon were used in 65 lesions(61.3%).The post-procedure minimal lumen diameter(MLD)was significantly increased than before-procedure(2.02±0.19vs0.44±0.17 mm,P<0.01).The late lumen lose(LLL)was-0.035±0.090 mm.The LLL in the group of using the cutting or NSE balloon was less than the unused group(-0.072±0.087vs0.001±0.077 mm,P=0.005).97 patients(94.2%)underwent clinical follow-up,5.1% patients had target vessel reconstruction(TVR),but all of them were not target lesion reconstruction(TLR).There were two patients had myocardial infarction. The incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)is 7%(n=7).Conclusion:1.Drug-coated balloon has efficacy and safety in the treatment of de novo small Coronary artery lesions in patients with ACS.2.Drug-coated balloon combined with cutting or NSE balloon can get better late positive vascular remodeling in the treatment of coronary small vessel disease in ACS.
