Objective: To observe the CTA images of lingual artery under physiological condition, and to observe the origin, morphology and course of lingual artery,as well as its relationship with carotid bifurcation and greater hyoid angle,to evaluate the value of tongue artery CTA(CT Angiography)in the design of tongue flap, the distance from the beginning and end of bilateral deep lingual artery(10 mm from tip of tongue)to the surface of tongue was measured,in order to improve the accuracy of tongue flap design. At the same time,it can provide anatomical basis for clinical treatment of tongue artery and tongue root RF radiofrequency and RF volume reduction for Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome,so as to improve the safety and reduce the complications. Methods: Data: From December 2012 to October 2016,we selected the patients with CTA examination of the head and neck in our hospital. We conducted blind examination of the data of the subjects and eliminated the developmental deformities, aneurysms, and lesions or variations of the external carotid artery and its main branches. The three senior senior professional titles doctors reviewed separately. If the above questions can not be clearly identified, they refuse to be included in the scope of the study.Finally,73 cases,41 males and 32 females were included in the study, aged 20-79,with an average age of 49.5.CTA scanning method: preparation before scanning: Conduct iodine allergy test, exclude iodine allergy, ensure the safety of the subject's inspection. The subject lay flat on the examination bed and carried out radiation protection. He was asked to keep the tongue still during the inspection process, prohibit swallowing, and ensure that the inspection data was not disturbed by sports artifacts.Scanning scheme: using the 128-layer spiral CT of the Philips 64 row to perform closed resting position scanning. The enhanced scanning delay time was determined by the Bolus Tracking. The data were processed by spss statistical software between individuals: The availability of CTA images of tongue artery at rest was compared by test, the distance from the tip of the tongue to the tip of the tongue and the distance from the horizontal segment of the deep lingual artery to the surface of the tongue were measured by one way Anova(P<0.05),there were differences between the groups. Results: There were 32 cases of superior arch,19 cases of horizontal type,1 case of costem with superior thyroid artery.124 cases originated from external carotid artery and 21 cases of costem with facial artery. The minimum distance from the beginning of the horizontal segment of the deep tongue artery to the back of the tongue is 1.56 cm and the maximum distance is 2.73 cm;The minimum distance between the horizontal segment of the deep tongue artery and the back of the tongue is 0.69 cm and the maximum distance is 1.41 cm.The distance(mm)between the deep lingual artery and the tip of the tongue(d).The distance from the horizontal segment of the deep lingual artery to the surface of the tongue(mm),represented by D.R represents the right lingual artery, and L represents the left lingual artery. The measured data were grouped by sex: 10.11 ± 1.44 for d-L males and 8.69 ± 2.02 for females.D-R males are 10.30 ± 1.50 and females are 8.828 ± 1.98.D-L males are 23.60 ± 1.88 and females are 20.39 ± 3.38.D-R males are 23.98 ± 1.84 and females are 20.21 ± 2.89.The data of the test is tested in order of homogeneity of variance, analysis of variance of single factor,P> 0.05 There was no significant difference between groups d-L and d-R,and there was no significant difference between groups D-L and D-R.The measured data is grouped by age(60 years old): d-L ? 60 years old group 10.860 ± 1.53,>60 years old group 8.970 ± 1.53.D-R ? 60 years old 11.070 ± 1.79,> 60 years old group 9.0123 ± 1.60.D-L ? 60 years old 24.395 ± 2.52,> 60 years old group was 21.357 ± 2.86.D-R ? 60 years old 23.945 ± 2.90,> 60 years old was 21.717 ± 2.83.The data of the test is tested in order of homogeneity of variance, analysis of variance of single factor,P>0.05;There was no significant difference between the d-L,d-R,D-L,and D-R groups. The measured data are statistically processed by using SPSS statistical software among individuals: ?2test is used to compare the hierarchical availability of the resting tongue artery CTA image. The measurement results of the depth of the bilateral tongue arteries(the distance of the deep tongue arteries from the tip of the tongue by 1cm to the surface of the tongue and the distance from the starting point of the horizontal segment of the deep tongue arteries to the surface of the tongue),There was significant difference between the d-L,D-L,and d-R,D-R groups.analyzed using the sol-way ANOVA,P <0.05,there is a difference between individuals. Conclusions:The tongue flap has a good effect in tissue repair of Larynx, pharynx and oral cavity after operation.Meanwhile, the tongue flap should be designed to protect the lingual artery, ensure the blood supply of the residual tongue, and meet the repair of the largest area of the operation site. The results of the analysis and measurement of this set of data are as follows:1.The measurement of CTA of lingual artery is of great significance to the design of individual individualized therapy in the surgical treatment of tongue root related diseases.2.The gender factor has no guiding significance for the establishment of individualized program in the surgical treatment of tongue root related diseases.3.The age factor has no guiding significance for the establishment of individualized plan in the surgical treatment of tongue root related diseases.4.The tongue artery CTA can show the blood vessel's course. It is helpful to make the individualized plan in the treatment of the disease of the tongue root.
