Objective: The mice were exposed to the fine particle on-line enrichment and exposure system,and different phytochemicals were intervened to observe the index of cardiac ejection fraction and short-axis shortening.To investigate the effects of phytochemicals on cardiac function in infected mice.Methods:One hundred eighty male C57BL/6Cnc mice weighing between 21-50 g were provided by Beijing Weitong Lihua Experimental Animal Co.,Ltd.After one week of adaptive feeding,the 180 mice were randomly divided into 18 groups(n=10).Including blank control group,positive control group,and eight phytochemicals intervention groups(BFC-1,BFC-2,BFC-3,BFC-4,BFC-5,BFC-6,BFC-7,BFC-8),the eight intervention groups were respectively divided into two groups according to the measurement level.All mice were administered with a mixed solvent of sodium carboxymethylcellulose,lecithin,glycerol,soybean oil and water once a day for routine gavage.The phytochemical intervention group mice were treated with the corresponding plant compounds on the basis of the above treatment.The amount of phytochemicals was 0.1ml / 10 g,and the gavage was continued for 8 weeks.At the same time of gavage,the positive control group and the phytochemical intervention group were exposed to PM2.5 poisoning environment,which made by outdoor air concentrating 6-8 times in real time using the fine particle online enrichment and poisoning system,for 6 hours each day.Otherwise,the blank control group was exposed to indoor air for 6 hours each day.The left ventricular end systolic volume(LVESV),left ventricular end diastolic volume(LVEDV),and left ventricular cular end systolic dimension(LVESD)and left ventricular end diastolic dimension(LVEDD)were measured by echocardiography after corresponding treatment.Then calculate left ventricular short fractional shortening(LVFS),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)according to the formula.What' more,Compare the LVEF and LVFS among the groups.Results:The results showed that the LVEF of the positive control group was 20.37 ± 2.48% and the LVFS was 17.12 ± 4.79%,which were lower than those of the blank control group LVEF(62.55 ± 8.61%)and LVFS(41.05 ± 4.08%),and statistically significant(P <0.05).Compared with the positive control group,the LVEF of the eight phytochemicals intervention groups were all increased,and had statistical significance(P <0.05).About the LVFS,the BFC-1,BFC-5,BFC-6,BFC-7,and BFC-8 groups were increased in both the high-dose and low-dose groups,and in the high dose group of the BFC-4 and BFC-8 groups were increased,statistically significant(P <0.05).What' more,the LVFS in the low dose group of the BFC-8 group was increased.Otherwise,there was no significant difference in LVFS between the high-dose and low-dose groups of phytochemicals in the BFC-2 and BFC-3 groups(P> 0.05).Compared with the blank control group,there was no significant difference in LVEF between the high-dose and low-dose groups of phytochemicals in the BFC-1,BFC-5,BFC-6,BFC-7,and BFC-8 groups(P> 0.05).However,The LVEF of phytochemicals in BFC-4 group decreased in both high-dose and low-dose groups,which was statistically significant(P <0.05).And the LVEF in the low-dose group of the phytochemicals intervention in the BFC-2 and BFC-3 groups were reduced,which was statistically significant(P <0.05).In the BFC-1,BFC-2,BFC-3,BFC-4,BFC-5,BFC-6,and BFC-7 groups,the LVFS in the high-dose and low-dose groups were reduced,which was statistically significant(P <0.05).The LVFS in the high-dose group of the BFC-8 group did not change significantly and had no statistical significance(P> 0.05).The LVFS in the low-dose group of the BFC-8 group decreased,which was statistically significant(P <0.05).Compared the high-dose groups of eight phytochemicals,it was found that there was no statistical difference between the two indicators of LVEF and LVFS(P> 0.05),which indicates that the type of phytochemicals had no effect on the results at high doses.And the low-dose groups got the same results above,indicating that the type of phytochemicals had no effect on the results at low doses.However,it can be seen from the chart comparison that the LVEF and LVFS in the high-dose group of the BFC-8 group were significantly better than those of the other intervention groups.Conclusion :Combined application of phytochemicals can improve LVEF and LVFS in damaged myocardium,and improve myocardial function.
