Meta-analysis Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Intervention In EGFR-TKI Ralated Rash

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of EGFR-TKI related rash,and to provide evidence for clinical practice.Methods:Literature on clinical randomized controlled studies of traditional Chinese medicine intervention in EGFR-TKI related rash before 2019 was included through computer retrieval,and the quality of the included literature was evaluated.Review Manager 5.3 software was used for meta analysis of the data.Results:There were 5 literatures on the prevention of EGFR-TKI related rash by traditional Chinese medicine were included.A total of 303 subjects were included,including 154 in the treatment group and 149 in the control group.In terms of the incidence of rash,OR=0.34,95%CI=[0.18,0.61],Z=3.56,P=0.0004.In terms of the level 2 and above incidence rate of rash,OR=0.28,95%CI=[0.16,0.48],Z=4.50,P < 0.00001.In terms of tumor short-term response,OR=1.09,95%CI=[0.69,1.72],Z=0.35,P= 0.72.In terms of tumor disease control rate,OR=1.36,95%CI=[0.72,2.56],Z=0.94,P = 0.35.There were 27 literatures on the treatment of EGFR-TKI related rash by traditional Chinese medicine were included.A total of 1647 subjects were included,including 830 in the treatment group and 817 in the control group.In terms of total clinical efficiency,OR=4.71,95%CI=[3.70,6.00],Z=12.59,P<0.00001.In terms of the efficiency of all levels of rash,There is insufficient data on the effective rate of primary rash.The efficiency of the level 2 OR=3.22,95%CI=[1.20,8.66],Z=2.32,P=0.02.The efficiency of the level 3 OR=3.18,95%CI=[0.47,21.56],Z=1.19,P=0.24.In terms of quality of life score(DLQI),MD=-3.30,95%CI=[-5.47,-1.12],Z=2.97,P=0.003.In terms of tumor disease control rate,OR=1.00,95%CI=[0.34,2.91],Z=0.00,P =1.00.Conclusions:Traditional Chinese medicine can prevent EGFR-TKI related rash and reduce the severity of the rash.The total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of EGFR-TKI related rash is better than that of western medicine,which can improve the quality of life of patients and has no effect on the anti-tumor efficacy of EGFR-TKI.It is suggested that the prevention and treatment of EGFR-TKI related rash by traditional Chinese medicine can be used in clinic.The quality of evidence for the incidence of various rashes is low,but traditional Chinese medicine can still be used in clinical practice for it's good safety.
