Efficacy And Safety Of FXa Inhibitor In Patients Uninterrupted Anticoagulation During Perioperative Catheter Ablation Of AF:A Meta-analysis Of RCTs

Objective: Evaluating efficacy and safety of Factor Xa inhibitor in patients uninterrupted anticoagulation during perioperative catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.Methods: By searching the online databases of Pub Med,Web of Science,Clinicaltrials.gov,and Embase,to collect randomized controlled trials(RCTs),published before the end of July 2019,concerning the comparsion of factor Xa inhibitors and warfarin in patients uninterrupted anticoagulation during perioperative catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation.The author extracted the data from these RCTs and performed statistical analysis through Rev Man 5.3 Software.Results: Six RCTs were included in this analysis.The results of this meta-analysis found that,compared with warfarin,the incidence of total embolism events with factor Xa inhibitors(RR = 1.09;95 % CI: 0.82-1.46;P = 0.56),the incidence of stroke / TIA(RR = 1.47;95% CI: 0.31-6.97;P = 0.63),and the incidence of Silent Cerebral Embolism(RR = 1.07;95% CI: 0.81-1.42 P = 0.63)was no significant difference;And the incidence of total bleeding events(RR = 1.19;95% CI: 0.87-1.63;P = 0.28),the incidence of major bleeding events(RR = 0.93;95% CI: 0.51-1.71;P = 0.82),the incidence of minor bleeding events(RR=1.32;95%CI:0.90-1.93;P=0.15),the incidence of Cardiac tamponada(RR=0.76;95% CI:0.32-1.83;P=0.54)also was no significant difference.Conclusion: When comparing with uninterrupted VKA,uninterrupted factor Xa inhibitors strategy is comparable in the incidence of major or minor bleeding events or Cardiac tamponada events and preventing Stroke/TIA and SCE events.
