Objectives The patients who were admitted to the Department of Hepatobiliary surgery of Hebei Provincial people's Hospital because of acute pancreatitis(AP)from October 2017 to January 2020 were divided into opioid group and control group according to whether they were treated with opioid analgesics or not during outpatient or hospitalization. To analyze the differences of serum amylase(AMS),C-reactive protein(CRP),dietary recovery time and hospital stay between opioid group and control group, and to study the effect of opioid analgesics on AP in order to provide reference for clinical medication. Methods The patients with acute pancreatitis in our hospital were searched retrospectively for 3 years(2017-2020).The patients were divided into two groups: non-opioid group and opioid group. The statistical data include: sex, age, body weight, personal history and previous medical history, blood amylase(AMS),C-reactive protein(CRP),diet recovery, length of hospital stay and so on.SPSS20.0 software was used to analyze the difference of disease progression and length of stay between opioid group and non-opioid group in order to compare the effects of different drugs on the AP.Results A total of 135 patients were counted and 60 were included in the statistical analysis. There were 48 patients with mild to moderate acute pancreatitis and 12 patients with severe acute pancreatitis. There were 40 cases in opioid group and 20 cases in non-opioid group. The average hospital stay was 11.00 days in opioid group and 9.50 days in non-opioid group. There was significant difference between opioid group and non-opioid group(P = 0.044).The average gastrointestinal recovery time was 5.89 d in opioid group and 4.00 d in non-opioid group. There was no significant difference between opioid group and non-opioid group(P = 0.180).The average recovery time of serum amylase was 7.17 d in opioid group and 3.75 d in non-opioid group. There was no significant difference between opioid group and non-opioid group(P = 0.073).The average recovery time of C-reactive protein was 9.43 days in opioid group and 7.50 days in non-opioid group. There was significant difference between opioid group and non-opioid group(P = 0.047).Conclusions Regardless of etiology, the use of opioids delayed the recovery of CRP in patients with acute pancreatitis and increased the length of stay of patients.Figure [0];Table [8];Reference [108]...
