Study On The Status Of The Resilience And Itsinfluence In The Community Older Adults

Objectives To understand the resilience of community older adults,to explore the influencing factors of resilience in community older adults,to improve the mental health level of the elderly and promote healthy aging to provide a basis.Methods During October 2018 to April 2019,using the convenience sampling method a total of 752 community older adults from power supply building community and tuanli community in lubei district of tangshan city,hebei province,were household investigation,including general situation questionnaire(age,gender,marital status,educational level,health insurance,family relationship,living situation,personal monthly income,the main source of income,merged chronic disease,et al),Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),Simplified Coping Style Scale(SCSS),Positive and Negative Affect Scale(PANAS),Personal Mastery Scale(PMS),Family Care Index Scale(FAI),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS).Using Excel,SPSS17.0 statistical software to analyze the data,descriptive statistical analysis was used for the general situation of the elderly,t-test and variance were used to compare the differences in the resilience of the community older adults in terms of different demographic data,mastery,family care and perceived social support,Pearson correlation was used to analyze the relationship between coping styles,positive and negative affection and resilience,and multivariate stepwise regression analysis was used to investigate the main influencing factors of resilience.Results 1 The status of resilience in the community elderly:the resilience score of the community elderly was(62.33±11.45),the score of resilience tenacity dimensions was(33.53±6.18),the score of resilience strength dimensions was(19.87±3.89),the score of resilience optimism dimensions was(8.92±2.60).Community elderly with low resilience accounted for 24.5% of the total sample,community elderly with moderate resilience accounted for 50.6% of the total sample,and community elderly with high resilience accounted for 24.9% of the total sample.2 Single factor analysis results of influencing factors of the resilience in the community older adults:age,education level,the main source of income,health care type,living situation,personal monthly income,family relationship,ADL status,mastery,family care,social support?affect the resilience of the community elderly,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 It is suggested by correlation analysis that community elderly people's positive coping was positively correlated with their the total score of resilience,while negative coping was negatively correlated with their the total score of resilience,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Community elderly people's positive affection was positively correlated with their the total score of resilience,while negative affection was negatively correlated with their the total score of resilience,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4 Multivariate stepwise regression analysis of influencing factors of the resilience in the community older adults: education level,personal monthly income,family relationship,ADL status,positive coping,positive affection,negative affection,mastery,family care,social support enters the regression equation(P<0.05),those factors could explain 86.7% of total variance in the resilience.That was,the community older adults with low educational level,low personal monthly income,poor family relationship,severely impaired activity of daily living,less positive coping,less positive affection experience,more affection emotional experience,low mastery,low degree of family care and low degree of social support have lower level of resilience.Conclusions 1 The resilience of the community elderly in Lubei district of Tangshan was middle level.2 The main influence factors of the community elderly were education level,personal monthly income,family relationship,ADL status,positive coping,positive affection,negative affection,mastery,family care and perceived social support.Figure 0;Table 17;Reference 160...
