Objective:Based on the principles and procedures of the FDA scale construction, this study developed a symptom self-reported scale for cervical cancer patients during rehabilitation period after radical hysterectomy. So as to provide a systematic and standardized symptom self-reported assessment tool for symptom management and continuous care work for cervical cancer patients during rehabilitation period after radical hysterectomy.Methods:1.Comprehensive analysis and analysis of relevant literature and data through literature analysis to construct the theoretical framework and entry pool of PRO scales for patients with cervical cancer after radical hysterectomy. The phenomenological study method in the qualitative research method was used to interview cervical cancer patients in the rehabilitation period after radical hysterectomy, supplementing the entry pool.2.Using the Delphi expert consultation method, the items were evaluated and optimized to form the PRO scale for cervical cancer patients during rehabilitation after radical hysterectomy.3.Using investigation and research method,pre-investigate 213 patients with cervical cancer after radical hysterectomy in a tertiary hospital in Zhejiang Province by convenient sampling. The statistical scale ratio method, discrete trend method,Cronbach's ? coefficient, correlation analysis, and exploratory factor analysis method were used to screen the scale items to form the PRO scale. Results:Initially developed the symptom self-reported scale for cervical cancer patients during rehabilitation after radical hysterectomy, which consists of 2 areas,8 disementions and 39 items. There are 31 items in the symptom area, including sleep, pain, fatigue, urination symptoms, sexual behavioral response, emotional response and body image. The symptom-affected area contains 1 dimension of symptom interference,a total of 8 items. Conclusions:Cervical cancer patients during rehabilitation after radical hysterectomy still face physical, psychological, family, and social problems, which need timely and effective evaluation and intervention by medical staff.A symptom self-reported scale for cervical cancer patients during rehabilitation after radical hysterectomy was initially develped, the Cronbach's ? coefficient is 0.939.And it can be used as an assessment tool for symptom management in patients with post-operative recovery of cervical cancer.
