Objective:(1)To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Mongolia medicine in the treatment of insomnia with Western Medicine(Dexzopiclone Tablets)as the control group;(2)To further evaluate the safety of Mongolian medicine in the treatment of insomnia by observing the adverse reactions and clinical symptoms during the treatment.Methods: From December 2018 to December 2019,61 patients who met the criteria of insomnia diagnosis and inclusion and voluntarily participated in the clinical trial were randomly divided into two groups: 30 patients in the treatment group(Mongolian medicine group)and 31 patients in the control group(Western medicine group).Among them,there are 14 males and 47 females,aged between 21 70 years old,with a course of disease ranging from 6 month to 20 years.In the treatment group,Naranmandvl 15 tablets before morning tea,Managqimbu 15 tablets after lunch,Erdenurel 15 tablets after supper,3g Agaru 35 before going to bed in evening,and 3g Dexzopiclone tablet before going to bed in the control group.Taking 14 days as a course of treatment,two courses of treatment(28 days)were carried out.Before treatment,after one course of treatment and after two course of treatment,the efficacy and safety of the two groups were evaluated according to PSQI sleep quality scale,Mongolia Medicine Syndrome Scale and the records of adverse reactions and adverse events.One month after the treatment,the recurrence rate of insomnia was evaluated by telephone follow up.All data were analyzed by SPSS22.0.Results:(1)The scores of PSQI sleep quality scale,Mongolia Medicine Syndrome Scale in the treatment group before and after treatment were statistically significant.(2)After treatment,there was no significant difference between PSQI sleep quality scale,Mongolia Medicine Syndrome Scale(P>0.05).(3)There was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)In this study,the first line Western Medicine(Dexzopiclone Tablets)for insomnia was used as the control to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Mongolia medicine in the treatment of insomnia filled up this clinical observation research blank.(2)After treatment,there was no significant difference in clinical efficacy and safety between the two groups,including that the efficacy of Mongolian medicine in the treatment of insomnia was similar to that of Dexzopiclone Dexzopiclone Tablet.
