Objective Thyroid hormone is very important for newborn, and the changes of hormone level are harmful to the life and health of newborn. To find out the factors that cause changes in thyroid hormone levels in premature infants,it is crucial to make accurate early diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases in premature infants [1].The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between thyroid function and dopamine administration in low birth weight children. Methods A total of 2018.01 to 2019.01 were premature children with low weight and application of dopamine due to low blood pressure or dobutamine(the choice of drugs is determined by the clinical doctors)for the treatment of 94 cases of clinical data were retrospectively analyzed, depending on the use of drugs, divided into A group including newborns(dobutamine treatment)and group B(perfect thyroid function tests before stop using dopamine at least 6 hours)and group C(perfect during thyroid function tests are still treated with dopamine newborns),on the fifth day of life,To obtain the detection indexes of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)and thyroxine(T4)in children in the three groups.First, the selected one-way anova of TSH and T4 in each of the three groups of data was performed to compare whether there were statistical differences between each group. Then, linear regression correlation analysis was conducted between daily dopamine infusion amount of group B and group C and daily dopamine infusion amount of group A and TSH and T4.Results(1)To be included in the group A with 30 cases, group B with 32 cases,32 cases in children with group C,three groups of children: gender, gestational age, birth weight, cesarean section, prenatal hormone use,Apgar score,Crib score, neonatal pulmonary hyaline membrane disease, sepsis, artery catheter is not closed, intraventricular hemorrhage,NEC,there was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05),comparable.TSH A: 1.96±0.72 m U/L B: 1.74±0.44 m U/L C: 1.09±0.33 m U/L lower in group C than in group A,P < 0.05,significant(3)T4: A: 76.21±3.89 nmol/L B: 37.51±3.44 nmol/L C: 26.77±4.29 nmol/L,lower in group B and group C than in group A,P < 0.05,significant.(3)the daily infusion amount of dopamine was negatively correlated with children's T4(P < 0.05),which was significant and had no correlation with TSH.There was no correlation between daily infusion amount of dobutamine and T4 and TSH.Conclusion The infusion of dopamine affects thyroid hormone levels.Dopamine reduces serum TSH and T4 levels in low birth weight children, and increases the incidence of transient hypothyroidism(CHOP)in premature infants.
