Objective:Observe the correlation between TCM constitutions,TCM syndrome types and gender, age, course of disease,BMI,Hb A1 c,FBG and other general information in patients with diabetic constipation.Analyze the distribution pattern of TCM constitution and TCM syndrome types, and explore the correlation between TCM constitutions and TCM syndrome types in this type of population. Methods:Select diabetic constipation patients as research objects who visited or were hospitalized in the endocrinology department of the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Collect basic information using questionnaires.Judge TCM constitution and TCM syndrome types according to "Diagnosis and Treatment Standards for Diabetes in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine(Draft)","Diagnosis and Treatment Standards for Diabetes in Traditional Chinese Medicine","Diagnosis Standards for Diabetes and Gastrointestinal Diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine" and "Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Classification and Determination",etc.Micro Office Excel was used to establish the database, and SPSS 21.0 software was used for data processing and analysis.Results:1.General data distribution: 156 cases were included in this project. The ratio of male to female was 1: 1.26.The average age was 56.25±10.18 years old,the average course of disease was 9.21±4.08 years old,the average BMI was 23.68±3.30kg/,the average Hb A1 c was 8.22±1.29% and the average value of FBG was 8.58±1.66mmol/L.2.Distribution of syndrome types: The distribution of TCM syndrome types in descending order is Qi and Yin Deficiency Syndrome(31.4%),Yin Deficiency and Heat Excess Syndrome(28.8%),Yin and Yang Deficiency Syndrome(26.9%),Blood Stasis and Obstruction Syndrome(12.8%).The distribution of syndrome types was not related to gender, age, course of disease, and BMI(P> 0.05),but was correlated with Hb A1 c and FBG(P<0.05).3.Physical distribution: The distribution of TCM syndrome types in descending order is Qi deficiency type(23.7%),Yang deficiency type(20.5%),Yin deficiency type(18.6%),Wet-heat type(10.9%),Phlegm wetness type(10.3%),Qi stagnation type(7.1%),Blood stasis type(5.8%),Gentleness type(2.6%),Specific diathesis type(0.6%).There was no correlation between TCM constitution distribution and gender, age, course of disease,BMI,Hb A1c(P> 0.05).There was a correlation between TCM constitution and FBG(P<0.05).4.Correspondence analysis of TCM constitution and syndrome types: Blood stasis type is mostly manifested as Blood Stasis and Obstruction Syndrome(13.2%).;Yang deficiency type and Qi deficiency type are mostly as Yin and Yang Deficiency Syndrome;Qi deficiency type is mostly as Qi and Yin Deficiency Syndrome;Yin deficiency type,Wet-heat type and Qi stagnation type are mostly manifested as Yin Deficiency and Heat Excess Syndrome.5.Correlation analysis between physical constitution and syndrome type:(1)Qi deficiency type,Yang deficiency type,Yin deficiency type,Wet-heat type,Qi stagnation type are related with Yin Deficiency and Heat Excess Syndrome(p<0.05),(2)Yang deficiency type,Wet-heat type, and Qi stagnation type are related to Yin and Yang Deficiency Syndrome(p<0.05).(3)There is a correlation between Blood stasis type and Blood Stasis and Obstruction Syndrome(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.There is no correlation between diabetic constipation and gender, age, course of disease, and BMI,but it is related to Hb A1 c and FBG.The most common types of syndromes are Qi and Yin Deficiency Syndrome, followed by Yin Deficiency and Heat Excess Syndrome,Yin and Yang Deficiency Syndrome, and Blood Stasis and Obstruction Syndrome.2.There is no correlation between diabetic constipation and gender, age, course of disease,BMI,Hb A1 c,but it is related with FBG.Qi deficiency type is the most common constitution, followed by Yang deficiency type,Yin deficiency type,Wet-heat type,Phlegm wetness type,Qi stagnation type, and Blood stasis type.3.Correlation between TCM constitution and syndrome type for diabetic constipation : Yin deficiency type,Wet-heat type,Qi stagnation type are more common in the The Yin Deficiency and Heat Excess Syndrome;Yang deficiency type is more common in Yin and Yang Deficiency Syndrome;and Blood stasis type is more common in Blood Stasis and Obstruction Syndrome.
