The Extended Form Of DEA Model And Its Application In Enterprise Inputoutput Analysis

The DEA model is a cross field of management science,operational research,mathematics and mathematical economics.DEA model is used to evaluate the inputoutput efficiency of "department" or "unit" with multiple inputs and outputs.Because DEA model can directly use input and output data to establish a non parametric model for performance evaluation,so it has been an important model in the application field until now.Since DEA model was put forward,many scholars have done a lot of research work in different fields and aspects,including the expansion and improvement of DEA model and theory,the explanation of the economic background,management background of DEA model and its methods,and a lot of applied research.Most of the classic DEA models are built on the premise of the same proportion reduction of input indicators or the same proportion increase of output indicators.In the input-output analysis of general enterprises or units,the change of the same proportion shows its limitations in some special cases.For example,the preference of decision-makers,the change cost of some indicators is too large,some indicators have change hard constraints and so on.This paper clarifies the research background and significance,analyzes the history and related fields of research at home and abroad,starting from the existing DEA model,analyzes the limitations of the classic DEA model from the two aspects of input-oriented and output-oriented,puts forward the way to improve the model,deduces several specific extension models,and explains them with simple examples.Based on the input-output data of public hospitals in all provinces(regions)of China in 2018,this paper uses the new model to analyze the application,to investigate the rationality and feasibility of the new model,and compares the calculation results of the model derived in this paper with the existing DEA model to analyze the differences between different models.The results of case analysis show that the extended model gives more choices in the inputoutput evaluation of enterprises or units.The results of the new model can not only evaluate the input-output efficiency of enterprises,but also provide useful suggestions for enterprises to improve management.Enterprises can choose the model according to their actual situation.The research results of this paper provide more alternative models for input-output analysis.In a sense,the model established in this paper has the function of evaluating input-output efficiency and providing feasible improvement plans.
