Objective: This study was planned to investigate the clinical characteristics of non-carious cervical lesion and to compare the clinical effects of Dyad Flow,Filtek Z350 XT,Filtek Z350 XT+ Filtex Z350 Flow on restoring NCCLs after one week and one year, besides, analyze the effect of different defect types on restoring NCCL in order to explore the feasibility of self-adhesive flow resin in restoring NCCL and the indications. Methods: 1.Investigate the defect characteristics of NCCL teeth;2.According to the inclusion criteria, patients with NCCLs who came to the Department of Stomatology from November 2018 to January 2019 were selected.According to the principle of randomized control, one of the three methods including Dyad Flow(DF),Filtek Z350 + SingleBond Universal(SF),Filtek Z350 XT + Filtex Z350 Flow + SingleBond Universal(SFF)was selected for direct repair, restoration were reviewed after one week and one year, and the repair effect was evaluated according to the efficacy standard and analyze about their effects on efficacy further.Using SPSS20.0 software and non-parametric test to analysis results. Results: 1.Defect characterization: 135 patients,608 affected teeth was collected in total, and 41.5% of which were males and 58.5% in women, the prevalence increases with age.NCCLs mainly occured in the first premolar and the second premolar, followed by the first molar and the canine, the second molar has the lowest incidence, there is no significant difference between the upper and lower jaws;Occurred alone on the adjacent surface or together with the buccal surface;the shape of the defect is mainly wedge-shaped,the area is mostly less than 1/3,the depth is mainly less than 2mm,and the defect position is mainly above CEJ,above the gingival margin or mixed type;many of NCCLs accompanied by gingival recession, chronic periodontitis;2.Comparison of clinical effects: There is no statistical difference in the clinical effect of DF,SF and SFF after one week or one year;3.The degree of gingival recession and chronic periodontitis will affect the cure;4.Miller II degree and III degree gingival recession decline the effect of DF in postoperative sensitivity, the coloring of the prosthesis, and the edge adhesion of the prosthesis decrease after one year. Conclusion: 1.The age, sex, distribution of teeth, and morphology of NCCL are basically the same as those in previous studies;it mainly occured on the labial and buccal surfaces, and are more common in the maxillary first molars on the side of the palate. The area is mostly less than 1/3,the depth is mainly <2mm,and the defect location is mainly above CEJ,above the gingival margin or mixed type;gingival recession, dentition defect, and chronic periodontitis may be related to the occurrence of NCCL.2.Dyad Flow could be used to repair NCCL and could shorten the operation time while the repair effect would decrease accompanied with gingival recession;3.Gingival recession and chronic periodontitis would influence the efficacy of direct adhesive restoration in NCCL.
