Objective: On the basis of acute heterogeneous hepatic injury in rats,contrast magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)enhanced imaging showed that the contrast agent Gd-EOB-DTPA and Gadopentetate dimeglumine had different detection efficacy in quantitative detection of hepatic injury.Method: Twenty-four male rats were randomly divided into two groups A and B,with 12 rats in each group.All rats were injected colchicine via the splenic vein,and the measurement was 0.4ml/kg.Three days later,different degrees of hepatic injury were established in different lobes and segments of the rat liver.All rats were underwent MRI axial liver scanning.In group A,Gd-EOB-DTPA was used as contrast agent for enhanced MRI imaging,Contrast agent Gadopentetate dimeglumine was used for enhanced MRI imaging after an interval of 24 hours.Group B was the opposite of group A in the order of MRI examination of the two contrast agents.MRI examination obtained signal strength values including;T1-weighted images(T1WI),ELMR from two kinds of contrast agents T1 WI enhanced MRI.After the scan,the hepatic specimens were obtained under euthanized.The left and right hepatic lobes of all rats were stained with hematoxylin-eosin(HE).Result: The hepatic parenchyma injected via the splenic had obvious pathological changes after three days.The hepatic injury score and the ELMR were significantly different between the left and right lobes(p<0.05).The correlation between hepatic injury score and ELMR was statistically significant(Gd-EOB-DTPA: r =-0.865,p=0.000,Gd-DTPA: r =-0.532,p=0.000).The ?ELMR of Gd-EOB-DTPA was more than that of Gd-DTPA(p<0.05).Conclusion: The contrast agent Gd-EOB-DTPA and Gadopentetate dimeglumine may help evaluate the heterogeneous injury among liver lobes,Gd-EOB-DTPA is better.
