Objective: Swallowing function rehabilitation training is an effective method to promote the swallowing function recovery of patients with oral cavity cancer or oropharyngeal cancer. However, due to the differences of regional medical level and patients' personal conditions, the implementation of swallowing function rehabilitation training is limited, and the effect of rehabilitation is affected. The training mode under the remote supervise intervention came into being, which has been applied to the rehabilitation of some chronic diseases and achieved good treatment results. However, there is no clear and systematic report in the field of postoperative complications of oral cavity cancer or oropharyngeal cancer. The purpose of this study is to observe the influence of the strategy of remote supervision and guidance on the swallowing function and quality of life of patients with oral cavity cancer or oropharyngeal cancer after operation. Methods: We selected patients who had undergone surgery for oral cavity cancer or oropharyngeal cancer in our hospital from 2019.2 to 2019.8,and randomly assigned them into intervention group(20 patients)and control group(18 patients). The patients in control group received routine health care and swallowing rehabilitation training, and those in intervention group received the remote supervise intervention on the basis of routine health care follow-up.The patients in the two groups were followed up for 1,3 and 6 months after rehabilitation training, and thescores of water swallowing test and MDADI swallowing scale were compared. Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups before operation(P > 0.05).At the beginning of rehabilitation training(2-3 weeks after operation)and the first month after training, there was no significant difference between the two groups in water swallowing test and MDADI swallowing scale(P >0.05).At the 3rd and 6th month after training, the score of water swallowing test and MDADI swallowing scale in the intervention group was better than that in the control group and had statistical significance(P < 0.05).In the analysis of the subgroups of patients with oral cavity cancer and oropharyngeal cancer respectively, the score of water swallowing test and MDADI swallowing scale in the intervention group were also better than that in the control group at the 3rd and 6th month after training, and there was statistical significance(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The rehabilitation training mode under the guidance of remote supervision can significantly improve the swallowing function and quality of life of patients with oral cavity cancer and oropharyngeal cancer, which is an effective non-drug intervention measure to ensure that the patients receive continuous rehabilitation guidance during the period of postoperative rehabilitation, and provide patients with a variety of effective information,so we think this mode is helpful to the swallowing function of oral cavity cancer and oropharyngeal cancer after operation restoration of quality of life.
