ObjectiveTo explore the nursing effect of the Hot-herbal compress therapy of corresponding meridians for preventing urinary retention of postoperative mixed hemorrhoids, which to providesevidence and guidance for the effective prevention and nursing of urinary retention in postoperative mixed hemorrhoids.MethodsA convenient sampling method was used to select 117 patients who plan to undergo mixed hemorrhoid external peeling and ligation in the anorectal department of a third-grade Chinese medicine hospital in Harbin from April2019 to February 2020.According to the method of random number table,it is divided into three groups: A,B and C.Patients in group A were given routine treatment and care.Group B was used Sizi Powder and crude salt to compress from Sanjiaoshu to Pangguangshu along the bladder meridian for 20 minutes on the basis of group A.Group C was used Sizi Powder and crude salt to compress from Shenque point to Zhongji pointalong the Ren channel for 20 minutes on the basis of group B.The intervention time of the group B and C was 1 hour after the operation, and 1 hour after the start of the intravenous infusion on the first and second days after the operation.Group B and C had the same use of materials, intervention time and operation methods for a total of 3 days. Before the intervention, the general data of the patients in each group were compared. We recorded the time of first urination time, volume of first voiding, incidence of urinary retention, and urethral catheterization ratesbetween the three groups after surgery. The urination status score and VAS score were used to evaluate the urination status and pain during urination after each intervention in the three groups, all the above data were entered into SPSS25.0 software for statistical analysis.Results1.Before intervention, there was no significant difference in baseline data among the three groups(P >0.05),indicating that the baseline level of the three groups was the same and comparable.2.The first urination time in postoperative between the three groups of patients was extremely statistically significant(P< 0.001).3.The first voiding volume in postoperative between the three groups of patients was no significant difference(P >0.05).4.The incidence of postoperative urinary retention in the three groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and urethral catheterization rates in group B and C were lower than those in group A(10.26% ? 5.13%vs17.95%).5.Comparison between three groupsin terms of the condition of unobstructed urination, time required to urinate, urine waiting time, abdominal symptoms, total voiding score and VAS pain score on the day of surgery, the first and the second day after surgery, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).However,on the second day after surgery, there was no significant difference in urine waiting time and abdominal symptoms between groups A and B(P> 0.05),and there was no significant difference in the condition of unobstructed urination between groups B and C(P> 0.05).6.Comparison within the three groups in terms of the condition of unobstructed urination, time required to urinate, urine waiting time, abdominal symptoms, total voiding score and VAS pain score on the day of surgery, the first and the second day after surgery, the differences were extremely statistically significant(P < 0.001).Conclusion1.The Hot-herbal compress therapy of corresponding meridians can effectively reduce the incidence of urinary retention of postoperative mixed hemorrhoids, urethralcatheterization rates, shorten the first urination time, and improve the postoperative voiding condition and pain condition.2.Compared with single bladder meridian Hot-herbal compress, bladder meridian mixed with Ren channel can more effectively improve the corresponding symptoms of urinary retention of postoperative mixed hemorrhoids, and the effect is more faster.3.The Hot-herbal compress therapy of corresponding meridians is easy to operate, the adverse reaction is small, and is easy to accept by patients,so it has clinical popularization value.
