Objective: To explore the prognostic evaluation value of micRNAs on nasopharyngeal carcinoma and the correlation between micRNAs and the clinical features,so as to provide new way for the clinical prognosis evaluation. Methods: Search terms were confirmed according to the subject and establishing search strategy and searching in CNKI,CBM,VIP,wanfang,Cochrane library,PubMed,Embase and Web of Science databases, from inception to January 19,2020 and suppling by manual search. Two researchers screened the articles according to the inclusion and exclusion criterias, evaluated the quality of the articles with NOS and then extracted the data. The effect amount is combined with renman 5.3 software.the publication bias were analysised with funnel diagram,Egger's and Begg's test and sensitivity analysis were completed with excluding method. Results: 28 articles were obtained through a comprehensive search and screening, including 4215 cases and 36 kinds of micRNAs,24 kinds of which were up-regulated and 12 kinds were down-regulated.The results of meta analysis showed that the dysregulation of micRNAs was associated with poorer overall survival,disease-free survival and recurrence-free survival of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients(P < 0.05).Subgroup analysis showed that up-regulated expressions of miR-103,miR-17-5p,miR-3182,miR-451 a,miR-483-5p,miR-92 a,miR-141,miR-183,miR-214-3p and down-regulated expressions of miR-451,miR-204,miR-185-3p,miR-143,miR-3188 suggested poorer survival. The dysregulation of microRNAs is correlated with the primary tumor(T)stage and clinical TNM stage(P < 0.05),but not correlated with gender, age, regional lymph node involvement and distant metastasis(P > 0.05).The dysregulation of micRNAs is more apparent in T3-T4 and ?-? stage nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients than those in T1-T2 and?-?stage.The funnel plots of publication bias analysis were symmetrical and Egger's and Begg's test results show that publication biases were not obvious. Conclusion: micRNAs have potential prognostic value to NPC.The up-regulated expressions of miR-103,miR-17-5p,miR-3182,miR-451 a,miR-483-5p,miR-92 a,miR-141,miR-183,miR-214-3p,and down-regulated expressions of miR-451,miR-204,miR-185-3p,miR-143,miR-3188 indicate shortened survival.Dysregulation of miRNAs expression is closely correlated to tumor size and clinical stage, but it is not a sensitive indicator of distant tumor metastasis, and the relationship with regional lymph node involvement needs more clinical trial data to support. There was no significant correlation between the dysregulation of micRNAs expression and the patient's gender and age.
