Objective:1.To investigate the distribution of ABO blood types in patients with gastric cancer.2.To investigate the relationship between ABO blood types and clinical characteristics in patients with gastric cancer.Summarize the distribution of the clinical characteristics of gastric cancer patients.3.To investigate the difference of survival rates of patients after gastric cancer surgery with different ABO blood types. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on the patients with gastric cancer who were pathologically confirmed after radical surgery in the affiliated hospital of yan'an university from January 2012 to June 2019.Complete clinical data of 1110 patients with gastric cancer who met the standard of na-ray were collected, according to different ABO blood types, they were divided into four groups:A,B,O and AB.The records include the patient's gender, age, tumor location, differentiation degree, tissue type,Borrmann type, depth of invasion, regional lymph node metastasis,TNM staging, maximum tumor diameter,Serum CEA,CA19-9,CA72-4 within 1 week before surgery and Helicobacter pylori(HP)infection. The survival status of patients after radical gastrectomy was followed up from January 2012 to December 2016.Analyze the distribution of ABO blood types(types A,B,O,and AB)in gastric cancer patients, and use Pearson?~2 test to evaluate the relationship between ABO blood types and clinical characteristics in patients with gastric cancer.Summarize the distribution of the clinical characteristics of gastric cancer patients.Kaplan-meier method was used to calculate the3-year overall survival rate of gastric cancer patients after radical gastritis. The difference of survival rate of gastric cancer patients with different ABO blood groups was compared by log-rank test.Results:1.Among the 1110 patients with gastric cancer, the number of A,B,O and AB cases was 312(28.1%),367(33.1%),324(29.2%)and 107(9.6%),respectively.The order of ABO blood group composition ratio was as follows:B blood type>O blood type>A blood type>AB blood type, with B blood type accounting for the largest proportion(33.1%)and AB blood type accounting for the smallest proportion(9.6%).2.There were significant differences in lymph node metastasis rate,CEA positive rate,Helicobacter pylori(HP)infection rate among different ABO blood types(P<0.05);the lymph node metastasis rate of the AB blood type(72.0%)was significantly higher than that of the A blood type(57.1%)and O blood type(57.4%);the CEA positive rate of B blood type(25.1%)and AB blood type(27.1%)were highest and were significantly higher than that of A blood type(15.4%);the HP infection rate of A blood type(62.4%)was significantly higher than that of O blood type(46.4%);There were no significant differences in the distribution of gender, age, tumor location, differentiation degree, tissue type,Borrmann type, depth of invasion,TNM staging, maximum tumor diameter, serum CA19-9,CA72-4 positive rates within 1 week before surgery among different ABO blood types(P>0.05).The majority of patients with gastric cancer are men,and men are 3.55 times as much as women. The age distribution is mainly concentrated in the50~69 years. The tumor site is high in gastric antrum, and the most common is poorly differentiated and adenocarcinoma.Borrmann classification is mainly type III.71.9%of the depth of invasion has reached full thickness, and 59.6%have regional lymph node metastasis.TNM stage is more common in stage III.and Tumors with a maximum diameter of?4 cm are more common. The positive rates of serum CEA,CA19-9,and CA72-4 were lower, which were 21.8%,20.3%and 21.9%.3.The 1-year cumulative survival rate was 79.1%and the 3-year cumulative survival rate was 56.2%among the 623 patients with gastric cancer who were followed up;the average survival time was 56.042±1.562 months, and the median survival time was 60.000 months. The 3-year overall survival rate of A blood type was 59.2%,and the average survival time was 58.530 months;the 3-year overall survival rate of B blood type was 56.4%,and the average survival time was 56.226 months;the 3-year overall survival rate of O blood type was 53.8%,and the average survival time was 54.423 months;the3-year overall survival rate of AB blood type was 53.4%,and the average survival time was 52.038 months. There was no significant difference in the 3-year survival rates of different ABO blood types in patients with gastric cancer(P=0.531).Conclusion:1.In patients with gastric cancer,B blood type accounts for the largest proportion,AB blood type accounts for the smallest proportion.2.The ABO blood group was significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis, serum CEA level and helicobacter pylori(HP)infection in gastric cancer; The rate of lymph node metastasis of AB blood type was the highest and was significantly higher than that of A blood type and O blood type;the CEA positive rate of B blood type and AB blood type were highest and were significantly higher than that of A blood type;the HP infection rate of A blood type was the highest and was significantly higher than that of O blood type.3.There was no significant correlation between ABO blood group and postoperative survival rate of gastric cancer patients.
